    Drilling Equipment QA / QC Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement tailored quality assurance procedures for our drilling equipment, adhering to industry regulations and internal standards.
    • Collaborate with our engineering team to review design specifications, materials selection, and manufacturing processes to ensure equipment quality.
    • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of drilling equipment to verify compliance with specifications, safety protocols, and industry standards.
    • Perform testing and calibration of equipment components, ensuring accuracy and reliability in various operational conditions.
    • Maintain meticulous records of inspections, tests, and QA/QC activities, including detailed non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
    • Prepare comprehensive QA/QC reports that provide insights into findings, trends, and improvement opportunities for management review.
    • Identify and promptly address quality issues, defects, or deviations from specifications, collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective corrective actions.
    • Lead investigations into root causes of quality problems and work alongside engineering and manufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions.
    • Provide hands-on training to equipment operators and maintenance personnel, ensuring they are well-versed in proper usage and safety protocols.
    • Stay up-to-date with evolving industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to drilling equipment QA/QC.
    • Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our QA/QC processes.
    • Propose and implement process enhancements that proactively mitigate quality issues and streamline workflows.
    • Collaborate seamlessly with our engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to integrate QA/QC processes throughout the equipment lifecycle.
    • Liaise with external suppliers and vendors to evaluate and ensure the quality of purchased equipment and components.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
    • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or equivalent certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles, with a focus on drilling equipment or heavy machinery.
    • Strong familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to drilling equipment quality.
    • Proficiency in using QA/QC tools, techniques, and meticulous documentation practices.
    • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
    • Self-driven and able to manage multiple tasks independently while maintaining high-quality work.

    Completion and Intervention Workshop Management / Equipment QA / QC Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Perform regular inspections of equipment components to identify defects or deviations from standards.
    • Manage day-to-day operations of the workshop, including resource allocation and workflow optimization.
    • Coordinate with clients to understand their equipment needs and provide technical advice and solutions.
    • Oversee equipment maintenance, calibration, and compliance with safety standards.
    • Lead a team of technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
    • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols within the workshop.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
    • Collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate inventory levels and order necessary materials.

    • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to address quality-related issues.

    • Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve equipment quality.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
    • Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
    • Work with suppliers to ensure incoming equipment or components meet quality standards.
    • Develop and implement systems for continuous monitoring of equipment quality.
    • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.

    Qualifications

    • University Degree in Engineering
    • 10 years and above in the relevant field
    • Must have a valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certificate
    • Valid BOSIET/HUET certificate
    • Valid Offshore medical certificate confirming fitness to work offshore.
    • Must be able to present a competence profile showing relevant experience in deepwater offshore rig
    • Proficiency in computer usage.

    Well Intervention Supervision Services Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate well intervention activities, including but not limited to well workovers, completions, stimulations, and other remedial operations.
    • Ensure that all interventions are conducted safely, following industry standards and regulations.
    • Develop and execute well intervention plans, budgets, and schedules.
    • Manage resources, equipment, and personnel to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Monitor and report progress, costs, and any deviations from the plan.
    • Prioritize safety and environmental compliance throughout all well-intervention activities.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
    • Conduct safety meetings and audits to mitigate risks.
    • Have a strong understanding of wellbore design, completion systems, and downhole equipment.
    • Troubleshoot issues and make decisions to optimize well performance
    • Oversee the maintenance and utilization of specialized equipment and tools required for well interventions.
    • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and properly certified.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards.
    • Ensure all interventions adhere to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Supervise a team of well-intervention personnel, including engineers, technicians, and field operators.

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
    • 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on well-intervention operations.
    • Prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role is
    • Proficiency in the use of well intervention tools and equipment, as well as a strong understanding of downhole processes and techniques.
    • Certification in relevant safety standards, such as HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment), is an added advantage.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, clients, and regulatory authorities effectively.
    • Familiarity with local and international regulations governing well-intervention activities.
    • Experience in project management, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
