Job Description

The Reconciliation Officer is responsible for preparing reconciliations, accurately matching items, saving and documenting all source documents, investigating outstanding items, resolving and clearing all outstanding items within the defined risk based timelines. The Officer is expected to execute all transactions with high level of integrity and ethical standards, as well as execute in an effective and efficient manner to enable customer satisfaction.  

Qualifications

• First Degree in Accounting or any social science related discipline
• 2-3 years post-NYSC experience 
• Experience in a financial services ​is an added advantage
• Experience in transaction processing workflow and control processes, and general knowledge of asset management matters

The Settlement Officer is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, including payments, fund transfers, settlements, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial instruments, settlement cycles, and regulatory requirements within the asset management industry. This role involves working closely with internal teams, custodians, financial institutions, and counterparties to maintain efficient cash flow management while ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational guidelines. This position requires expertise in payment execution, fund transfers, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless financial operations and mitigating risks in transactions

Qualifications

• BSc in related discipline
• 2-3 years post-NYSC experience 
• Professional certification (ICAN,ACCA) is an added advantage

Collection Officer is in charge of receiving inflows made by clients into our various mutual fund account and ensuring that client inflows are applied within the agreed timelines. He/she is responsible for engagement with custodians for the execution of returns transactions within SLA. Daily processing of returns for transactions below approved threshold and unconfirmed inflows with vague narration.

To process and fulfil all withdrawal requests submitted by clients across the various funds managed by Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited. Posting redemption request to core application for withdrawal and follow through the settlement process. Daily review and resolution outstanding Reconciliations items and Keeping proper records and tracking of outstanding redemptions.
