Gamma Mobility is seeking a Field Operations Officer that is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of on-ground operations. This position involves managing and supporting customers ensuring compliance with company policies, resolving operational challenges, and optimizing performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Ensure proper rider verification, and compliance with company policies.
Assist in the recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new gig workers.
Handle on-ground incidents such as accidents, recovery or theft, ensuring prompt resolution and reporting.
Ensure availability of necessary tools, materials, or vehicles for gig workers.
Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth operations and deliveries.
Conduct field visits to assess service quality, address concerns, and optimize performance.
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks in real-time.
Report and escalate operational issues to management when necessary.
Liaise with law enforcement or recovery teams in cases of asset retrieval or theft incidents.
Maintain rider compliance.
Act as a liaison between the logistics team, customers, and field staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Proven experience 1-2 years in field operations
Good understanding of logistics and fleet management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with drivers and customers.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Develop and implement robust customer onboarding processes to include customer identity verification, credit checks, and background checks processes.
Oversee the timely and efficient deployment of vehicles to customers, ensuring vehicles are in optimal condition.
Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and ensure adherence to leasing agreements.
Implement effective collections strategies to minimize overdue payments and reduce delinquency rates.
Execute vehicle recovery processes following established policies and legal guidelines when necessary (e.g., due to non-payment or contract violations).
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key on-demand platforms, ensuring our vehicles are seamlessly integrated into their operations.
Develop and implement strategies to maximize the uptime of all vehicles in the assigned city.
Monitor vehicle performance and maintenance schedules, coordinating with the maintenance team to minimize downtime
Collaborate with key stakeholders in the city, including local authorities, transportation agencies, transportation unions and business partners, to promote the success of the business.
Build and lead a high-performing operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
Generate regular reports on key operational metrics, including collections, recovery, vehicle uptime, and partnership performance.
Requirements
4-5 years of professional work experience, preferably in Operations Management, or a related field in an asset financing or loan recovery industry.
Proven experience in overseeing complex operations in the vehicle leasing industry.
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with a track record of driving business growth and achieving operational targets.
Excellent analytical skills and data-driven approach to problem-solving.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities with a high level of adaptability.
