    Senior Executive Project Manager

    The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day execution of civil and infrastructure projects across various project sites under the company’s portfolio. The role requires deep knowledge of construction project lifecycles, material oversight, and contractor management.

    The ideal candidate will have relevant construction industry experience, especially in retail or commercial development.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the development of project scopes, timelines, and work plans.
    • Collaborate with QS, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure projectreadiness
    • Oversee project performance across sites, coordinating vendors and contractors.
    • Track progress against project plans and escalate deviations where necessary
    • Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and alignment with technicalspecifications.
    • Ensure all documentation (stakeholder register, issue logs, risks, Quality, contracts)are up to date.
    • Identify and report project risks, assisting with basic mitigation planning.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of Higher National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering or a related field.
    • 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in construction project management, ideally in civil engineering, infrastructure development, or commercial construction.
    • At least 2 years managing or supporting retail station or commercial construction projects.
    • Strong understanding of civil and infrastructure project lifecycles.

    Senior Project Manager – Strategic Projects

    The Strategic Project Manager will be responsible for leading and executing high-impact initiatives that align with the Client's expansion strategy. This role demands a proactive individual with sharp business acumen, strong project management expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives, including scoping,planning, implementation, and post-execution reviews.
    • Define project charters, critical milestones, and success metrics in alignmentwith enterprise goals.
    • Translate corporate and expansion strategy into actionable project roadmapswith measurable outcomes.
    • Engage with executives, department leads, and external partners to build buy-in, foster accountability, and ensure transparent communication throughout project lifecycles.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or related field.

    • Proven business acumen, with ability to analyze commercial challenges, identify opportunities, and translate them into practical initiatives.
    • Experience working in or alongside consulting firms (Big 4, strategy firms) is a strong advantage.
    • Experience managing or supporting M&A-related projects is an added advantage.
    • Project Management Certification (PMP, Prince 2 or other relevant certifications) is mandatory.

    Independence – GIMS Service Centre - Risk Analyst

    We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic person to join our Internal Client Services Quality Independence Risk & Reputation Department as a Risk Analyst.

    This role will be responsible for providing critical support to the Africa member firm and its practitioners in respect of all firm independence related matters through:

    • Performance of timely and accurate GIMS Reviews.
    • Performance of accurate and timely updates to GIMS users and immediate family members’ portfolio information.
    • Accurate and complete upload of user added holdings and subsequent upload of supporting documentation.
    • Provision of prompt assistance to GIMS users.
    • Where possible breaches are identified - timely escalation to appropriate team members.
    • Assist the Senior Manager with action items on user dashboards.
    • Follow-up and escalation of individuals who did not adhere to deadlines

    Strategic Impact

    • Support the implementation of strategy within area of responsibility by conforming to plans set by the Director of Independence in area of responsibility.
    • Systems of quality control processes
    • Stay abreast with the latest developments and requirements and ensure that Deloitte Africa practitioners are up to date and informed.

    Independence Subject Matter Expertise

    • Perform timely and accurate GIMS Reviews.
    • Perform accurate and timely updates to GIMS users’ and immediate family members’ portfolio information.

    • Provides assistance to the Manager in ensuring that any Global mandated communications are drafted and shared with the business in line with the QIRR Communication Strategy.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Experience and Qualifications 

    • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.Eng./B. Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any relevant discipline with a minimum of Second Class Lower/Lower Credit division.
    • Have a minimum of credit in five WASSCE/GCE/NECO Ordinary Level subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only.
    • Basic understanding of independence aspects affecting the audit environment.
    • General knowledge of the applicable regulatory bodies (IESBA/IFAC/SEC/PCAOB etc.)
    • General knowledge / understanding of ISIN numbers, Listing Symbols, Collective Investment Funds, Asset Managers, Subsidiaries, Associates, Securities Accounts, Bonds, Structures Products, Notes, Exchange Traded Funds etc. and Corporate Group Structures.

    Desired Experience and Qualifications

    • A degree in financial management/commercial/business qualification.
    • 2 years’ work experience, ideally within a similar function.
    • Display a general level of understanding of Deloitte Policy Manual 1420 on Independence, especially relating to Financial Interest and the Global Independence Monitoring System (GIMS) / IESBA Code of Ethics with respect to Financial Interests.

    • Proven track record in successfully recruiting across different functions (e.g., Admin & Finance, Health, ICT, Energy etc).
    • Experience recruiting in Francophone regions 
    • Experience managing multiple open positions simultaneously
