IT Support & Web Developer at TAG Energy Nigeria Limited

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve the Company’s websites, web applications, and digital platforms, ensuring good performance, responsiveness, usability, and security.
• Translate business requirements into practical software solutions, features, workflows, and development tasks.
• Support software development activities, including coding, testing, troubleshooting, deployment and system improvements.
• Manage and support cloud and hosting environments, including AWS, domains, DNS, hosting, backups and system monitoring.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networks, applications, email systems and other IT-related issues.
• Maintain the Company’s IT infrastructure, including internet connectivity, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, routers, firewalls and access controls.
• Manage user accounts, system access, software applications, licences and technology subscriptions.
• Maintain IT assets, including computers, network equipment and peripherals, covering configuration, repairs, upgrades and replacement.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers on technical requirements, quotations, procurement and service delivery.
• Support the deployment, integration and maintenance of business applications and identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage software releases and deployments across testing and production environments, ensuring appropriate testing, documentation and backup procedures.
• Monitor the performance, availability and security of Company systems and digital platforms and implement corrective actions where required.
• Maintain backup, recovery and basic business-continuity arrangements for critical systems and information.
• Provide technical support and guidance to employees on the effective use of Company systems, software and technology tools.
• Maintain IT procedures, technical documentation and records, and prepare periodic reports on IT activities, incidents, assets and system performance.
• Support the application of Company branding standards across websites and other digital materials.
• Keep up to date with developments in web development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, automation and emerging technologies.

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Technical Stack: Laravel, VueJS, Next.js, MySQL, AWS, Alpine.js, jQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, Blade, Inertia.js, and Python.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in web development and IT support.
• Strong practical experience in website and web application development.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms, hosting, networking, system administration and basic cybersecurity practices.
• Experience with software deployment, troubleshooting, system integration and process automation.
• Knowledge of databases, APIs and third-party system integrations is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and provide timely technical support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
