    IT Officer

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Officer to manage and support the company’s information technology infrastructure.
    • The IT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of all IT systems, networks, and devices across the organization.
    • The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on maintaining business continuity while supporting end-users.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage, maintain, and support the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, devices, and cloud services.
    • Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
    • Assist in the deployment and configuration of new IT equipment, software, and systems for employees.
    • Ensure data security, backup procedures, and disaster recovery plans are implemented and maintained.
    • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights across all IT systems.
    • Provide technical support and training to employees, addressing IT-related inquiries and challenges.
    • Monitor IT inventory, including hardware, software licenses, and other technology assets, and ensure accurate records.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to maintain IT contracts and service levels.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Implement and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures in line with company requirements.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance IT efficiency and security

    Competencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.
    • Proven experience as an IT Officer, IT Support, or in a similar IT role.
    • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
    • Experience with network administration, server management, and IT security protocols.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple IT tasks simultaneously.
    • Effective communication skills to provide support to non-technical staff and collaborate with external vendors.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and other relevant software.

    Reporting Relationships:

    • Reports to: Administration Manager
    • Key Collaborations: All Departments, External Service Providers, and Vendors

    Interactions:

    • Internal: All employees utilizing IT services or devices
    • External: Service providers, Vendors, Consultants, Auditors, and Regulators.

    Benefits

    • Salary: N300,000 - N500,000 / month.

    Import Operations Officer

    Location: Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Ogun

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Operations Officer to manage the end-to-end import operations of our company.
    • As an Import Operations Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating with suppliers, logistics providers, and regulatory authorities to ensure timely and compliant importation of goods.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade, regulatory compliance, and supply chain operations, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and seamless coordination.

    Responsibilities

    • Execute all aspects of the company’s import operations, including coordinating with all the relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to suppliers, shipping lines, clearing agents, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
    • Process all necessary regulatory permits and licenses for imported goods (including NCS Fast Track / AEO Permits, NAFDAC Import Permits, SON Import Permits, Form Ms, and Pre-Arrival Assessment Reports), liaising with governmental agencies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Support the preparation, submission, and management of Letters of Credit (LCs) in coordination with Finance.
    • Review and verify all import related documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, customs duties, and import licenses, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Coordinate with shipping lines and terminals to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and receipting.
    • Collaborate with clearing agents to facilitate efficient customs clearance and resolve any import-related issues or delays, to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
    • Plan and coordinate the transportation and movement of goods and resolve any logistics issues.
    • Prepare Exchange Control Documents and other required documentation for regulatory compliance for each shipment.
    • Maintain accurate records of all import transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and trade regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, trade laws, and import requirements. - Identify and mitigate potential risks related to import operations, trade laws, and import requirements, and escalate internally as necessary.
    • Stay updated on changes in import regulations, trade laws, and industry best practices, and communicate updates to relevant team members

    Competencies 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not mandatory.
    • Proven work experience as an Import Operations Officer, Import Coordinator, or in a similar role within a supply chain or international trade environment.
    • Strong knowledge of import regulations, customs regulations and procedures, and international shipping processes.
    • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    • Problem-solving and analytical skills to anticipate and resolve operational challenges.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and relevant supply chain software.

    Reporting Relationships:

    • Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
    • Key Collaborations: Finance and Accounts Team, Supply ChainTeam

    Interaction:

    • Internal: Finance and Accounts, and Supply Chain.
    • External: Vendors, Auditors, Government Agencies, Statutory Bodies, and any other Regulatory Bodies.
