Inventory Officer at BBA Motors Limited

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in ensuring all vehicles are properly washed, cleaned, and maintained in excellent display condition on a daily basis.
• Conduct daily physical inspection of vehicles to ensure inventory accuracy, cleanliness, proper documentation, and readiness for sale or movement.
• Support daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory verification exercises.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits while investigating, documenting, and resolving stock discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with inventory movements including receiving, transfers, allocations, dispatches, vehicle releases, and supporting documentation.
• Verify inventory transactions against purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, gate passes, and supplier documentation to ensure complete accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Company's inventory management systems and ensure timely updates.
• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Sales, Finance, and Warehouse teams to ensure inventory availability and efficient order fulfilment.
• Monitor inventory ageing, identify slow-moving vehicles, and escalate inventory concerns to Management.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for Management.
• Ensure compliance with Company inventory control procedures and internal policies.
• Perform any other lawful duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2–4 years' experience in Inventory Management, Stock Control, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Previous experience within the automobile industry is an added advantage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and inventory reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
