    Inventory Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Monitor and control inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
    • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory shipments, verifying quantities, quality, and condition of goods received against purchase orders or packing slips.
    • Update inventory databases, systems, or spreadsheets to reflect stock transactions, adjustments, and movements, maintaining up-to-date and accurate inventory records.
    • Generate inventory reports, including stock levels, aging analysis, and inventory turnover ratios, to assess inventory performance and identify trends or issues.
    • Analyze demand patterns, sales forecasts, and historical data to forecast inventory requirements, set reorder points, and determine optimal stock levels.
    • Coordinate with procurement and purchasing teams to place orders for replenishment stock, ensuring timely delivery and availability of inventory items.
    • Manage stock rotation, shelf-life tracking, and expiry date monitoring for perishable or time-sensitive goods, minimizing waste and spoilage.
    • Conduct regular inventory audits, reconciling physical stock counts with inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and resolving inventory variances.
    • Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or surplus inventory, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Sc. / HND or its equivalent. Additional education in Supply Chain Management or a related field is an advantage.
    • Must have 3 years of work experience
    • Proven experience working in an inventory management role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment for at least three (3) years
    • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with an attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
    • Effective oral and written communication skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Logistics Officer

    Job Responsibilities

    • Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
    • Strategically Support in Coordinating the operation of the logistics team and facilitate Movement of Company products ensuring timely delivery to various destinations.
    • Identifying ways to improve logistical operations
    • Strategizing for time and cost savings throughout the supply chain process
    • Analyzing factors that affect the supply chain
    • Ensuring that GIT forms are duly fill and send to appropriate quarters for record and Claim process.
    • Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
    • Coordinate and track movement of goods through logistic pathways.
    • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
    • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
    • Maintain quality throughout the logistics processes.
    • Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and deployment timelines for new operations.
    • Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
    • Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
    • Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.
    • Ensure to work seamlessly and assiduously with all other department of the company.
    • Identify added logistic training requirements to attain high working standards.
    • Be coordinative with a sound moral attitude in order not to put the company’s name in disrepute.
    • Ensure the confidentiality of all the company’s information at your disposal.
    • Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement.

    Requirements

    • First Degree / HND in Business Administration / Social Science or related field
    • Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices is required
    • Good level of technical skills in mechanics / Communications
    • Good communication and representative skills
    • Ability to multitask and deal with situations
    • Ability to adapt within the working environment.
    • Ability to work in a team setting.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be able to drive Four (4) tyre truck
    • Must be ready to resume at a short notice.
