    Information Technology Support Specialist

    Job description

    As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the company’s processes digital transformation implementation, designing hardware configurations, installing software, managing network systems, and training staff on correct operating procedures.

    • Designing and installing computer hardware configurations.
    • Installing software and networking systems.
    • Troubleshooting network and software issues.
    • Installing high-level software security systems.
    • Training staff on newly installed hardware and software systems.
    • Fixing hardware, software, and networking issues.
    • Responding to general IT requests.
    • Ensuring security software is kept up to date.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure full digitalization of JCG business processes.
    • End-user support; Install, configure, and support company's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software.
    • Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for the company’s IT infrastructure.
    • Monitors and manage data communications networks; designs, configures, and implements LAN/WAN hardware, software, and ancillary services for network operating efficiency.
    • Internal systems and network administration; Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all system configurations.
    • Ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
    • Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
    • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, database administration and security.
    • Maintain network servers such as file/applications servers, domain controller, gateways, and intrusion detection systems
    • Servers Management, desktop computers, inverter system, printers, switches, firewalls, phones, personnel digital assistants, software deployment, security updates and patches
    • Coordinate company’s purchasing decision for Computer hardware, server systems, network infrastructure, inverter systems, software/application, and other IT related facilities.

    Finance Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Providing both strategic and operational support to the organization, which is critical to the continued success of the growth trajectory of all operations and businesses.
    • Assists the MD with relevant guidance on key business decisions, which will impact the long-term business growth, profitability, and financial health of the organization.
    • Ability to provide leadership for the finance function in the areas of financial and strategic planning, financial governance, compliance & reporting, risk, and operational excellence.
    • Providing timely advice on all financial matters, assisting other line managers in their financial obligations, supporting the HR in remuneration fixing and review, and being the financial spokesman of the organization
    • Preparation of account in line with regulatory framework and compliance with the statement of accounting standard
    • Shall be in charge of day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring the adequacy of funding/liquidity for the organization’s activities and ensuring overall effective treasury management, budgeting, financial performance monitoring, and reporting by providing detailed financial data, relevant, accurate, and prompt analyses and recommendations required for daily financial decisions. In addition,
    • Effective management of all capital and financial assets of the company.
    • Tax management, remittances to regulatory and Government Agencies including ITF, NSITF, PENCOM, NHIS, etc.
    • Schedule payments and upload same on the bank portals after approvals
    • Management of Vendor payments and also receivables with adequate cashflow/liquidity strategies.
    • Ensure regular bank reconciliation with all transacting banks.
    • Liaise with External Auditors for on-time delivery and submission of yearly financial /Income Statements to relevant authorities.
    • Advice Management on profitable investments that will add to the company’s revenue growth.
    • Prepare a monthly income statement for Management’s decision
    • Approve all finance and accounting transactions and ensures processes/procedures are effective; monitor the company’s financial books/position and sign off on any adjustments to ensure effective controls

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bsc/ HND

    Additional Required Experience/Qualifications:

    • Membership of ICAN
    • Audit experience in a reputable Accounting firm (Not less than 3 years)
    • Current or experienced span of control not less than 10
    • Ability to correctly interpret financial statements
    • Conversant with accounting software

    Rope Access Technician

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    The IRATA Certified Level 3 Rope Access Technician is responsible for:

    • Providing Training, safety management, work site organization, and supervisory leadership and accountabilities to work crews on various projects.
    • Utilizing specialized knowledge of "Rope Access Technology" to execute projects from inception through to completion.
    • Supervising and ensuring the safety and performance of the Level 1 and Level 2 technicians under his/her direction.
    • Preparing and submitting reports on a timely basis.
    • Ensuring operational safety of all equipment.
    • Liaising with Operations Managers regarding project work.
    • Liaising with clients and site operations crew to ensure scope of job is understood and well executed.

    Training and Skill Requirements:

    • SNT/PCN level II MT, PT UT
    • IRATA Level 3 Certification required including proficiency in theoretical knowledge, equipment and rigging, manoeuvres, climbing, rescue/hauling and documentation.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as IRATA Certified Level 3 Rope Access Technician.
    • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
    • Conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation.
    • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques.
    • Ability to demonstrate and execute the skills and knowledge required of Level 1, 2 and 3 IRATA Certified Rope Access Technicians.
    • Physically and mentally fit.
