    HVAC - Technician

    Job Description

    • An HVAC technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the hotel in other to ensure a well-maintained property to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience. 
    • As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multi-task in other sections

    What Will I Be Doing?
    As an HVAC technician, you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance, energy conservation, are working properly and to standard. Specifically, an HVAC technician will perform the following tasks and more to the highest standards;

    • Assist in the execution of planned preventive maintenance and break down maintenances and actively participate in the renovation projects.
    • Visually assesses the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of all air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment in hotel relating to chillers, air handling unit, fan coil units, ventilation, exhaust systems, freezers, cold rooms, refrigerators, ice machines and bar equipment
    • Perform Equipment repairs and maintain parts inventory.
    • Enter repairs on logbook and maintain records of all refrigerants used.
    • Multitask in other sections when called upon.

    What Are We Looking For?
    An HVAC Technician serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

    • ND in related field
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar role in a 5star hotel
    • Must have worked with 500tonnes centrifugal chiller capacity(water cooled) for a minimum of 5years
    • Must have worked with commercial type of AHU for a period not less than 5 years
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of central AC system, cooling towers, fan coil, chill water pump and commercial type of cold rooms and freezers and commercial type of extractor
    • Must be capable of working without supervision and within established time frame.

    Welder

    Job Description

    • A welder will support the Engineering Team to efficiently maintain all hotel operations such that safety, security, conversation, and compliance are ensured at the highest levels.

    What Will I Be Doing?

    • As a Welder, you will support the Engineering Team to ensure that engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel, including general property maintenance energy conservation, are working properly and to standard.
    • You are also responsible for staying abreast of compliance regulations and procedures in the field of Engineering, as required for hotel standards.

    Specifically, a welder will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Perform day-to-day routine and preventative maintenance within the hotel.
    • Respond promptly and efficiently to any maintenance calls that arise
    • Recommend maintenance system improvements and energy savings
    • Maintain all tools, equipment, and working areas in good condition
    • Keep your technical training knowledge and skills up to date

    What Are We Looking For?

    • ND in related field
    • Welding experience of not less than 3 years
    • Reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project
    • Measuring and cutting of materials to specification

    Outlet Checker

    Job Description

    • An Outlet Cashier with Hilton Hotels and Resorts will oversee operations and perform daily cashier duties in Food and Beverage outlets.

    What Will I Be Doing?
    As an Outlet Cashier, you will work in Food & Beverage outlets, oversees operations & reports by collecting necessary information from F&B outlets and recommending improvements as required. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Perform daily cashier duties
    • Close all checks to various settlement keys on Micros.
    • Monitor and investigate all open checks in Micros.
    • Execute tasks/requests as instructed by the Director of Finance.
    • Perform other functions assigned by the department head.

    Requirements
    What are we looking for?
    An Outlet Cashier serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

    • Bachelor's Degree / Higher National Diploma in Accounting.
    • Previous experience in Accounts/Finance functions.
    • Must have completed NYSC.
    • Good Knowledge of financial operating systems and procedures.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Excellent analytical skill.
    • Good knowledge of MS Suite.
