Responsibilities

• Collect all HSE information (Inspection and incident report, anomalies, audits, walkthroughs, Management visits, etc.) from the Project Site.
• Prepare monthly HSE statistical report.
• Follow up on all HSE actions entered until they are closed out.
• Issue reminder to personnel on action(s).
• Generate statistical analysis to ensure adequate prevention of incidents.
• Maintain a file of all HSE reports and actions (Audit, Inspection, Incidents, and anomaly).
• Maintain Site Health, Safety, and Environmental records and organize and participate in audits to ensure the effective implementation of HSE rules on site.
• Participates actively in all HSE Committee meetings, site planning, and coordination meetings.
• Participate in preparing works and operations, checking that comprehensive incident mitigation measures are enforced.
• Participate in site environmental audits, and monitor, follow up, and assess any agreed corrective recommendations and ensure their implementation.
• Participates actively in all HSE Committee meetings, planning and coordination meetings as well as contributing to defining ways and means to identify/minimize risks and the impact of activities.
• Participate in investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, anomalies, incidents, training, and other HSE-related activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Geological or Sciences, Occupational Health
• Min. 5 years of professional experience
• Min. 5 years of project experience within the Construction industry
• Industrial construction field experience with in-depth HSE fieldwork
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.

Responsiblities

• Plan and coordinate surveying activities for underground and surface mining operations.
• Conduct surveys to measure and map underground workings, surface features, mineral deposits, and mining infrastructure using a variety of surveying instruments and techniques.
• Create accurate maps, plans, and 3D models of mining areas.
• Calculate volumes of material excavated, stockpiled, or reclaimed using survey data and volumetric calculations.
• Conduct surveys of stopes, pits, and other mining excavations to determine their dimensions, orientations, and stability.
• Perform grade control surveys to monitor the quality and distribution of ore within mining areas.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks to provide accurate spatial reference points for mining activities.
• Analyze survey data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential hazards in mining operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards governing mine surveying activities.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
• Collaborate with mining engineers, geologists, geotechnical engineers, and other professionals to support mine planning, design, and operations.
• Document survey findings, methodologies, and recommendations in survey reports, mine plans, and regulatory submissions.
