Job Summary

• An HSE Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment and minimizing environmental impact. They develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental programs and policies to protect employees, the public, and the environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of workplaces and operations.
• Identify hazards and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage emergency response procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes.
• Prepare HSE reports and track performance metrics etc.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's / Master's Degree / HND with 2 - 3 years experience.

• Collaborate with architects and other project stakeholders etc.

• Identify and assess project risks related to costs.
• Prepare valuations for completed work.
• Finalize project accounts and prepare final cost reports.
