The Head of Teaching and Learning is a senior academic leader. The postholder for this dual-focus role will ensure rigorous quality assurance of classroom practices while designing and executing a world-class Continuous Professional Development (CPD) framework to elevate faculty performance and maximise student outcomes.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Education or a related field (Doctorate preferred).
5 years experience in educational leadership, including roles such as Head of Department, Deputy Head Academic, Principal, Vice Principal, or Director.
Minimum of 6–8 years of successful teaching experience in a reputable international school offering the Nigerian and Cambridge curriculum.
Relevant certifications in instructional coaching, school leadership, administration etc., would be an added advantage.
Knowledge of educational trends, best practices, and innovative teaching methods.
Proven experience designing and implementing teacher appraisal systems, rubric-based lesson observations, and data-driven school improvement plans.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, parents, and the community.
