    Head of Sales

    Job Summary

    • The Head of Sales will be responsible for leading and managing the company's real estate properties and investments sales operations.
    • The ideal candidate is a high-performing sales leader with a proven track record in property sales, client relationship management, and team leadership.
    • S/he must possess the capacity to consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, generate robust quality leads, build a sustainable sales pipeline, and conduct frequent property inspections with clients across Lagos region.
    • This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities, deep knowledge of the Lagos regionreal estate market, and the ability to inspire a team to peak performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
    • Monitor individual and team performance against set goals, providing coaching and support where necessary.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities for growth.
    • Generate robust, high-quality leads through various channels including direct marketing, referrals, partnerships, and digital platforms.
    • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent flow of prospects at various stages of the sales cycle.
    • Track and report on lead conversion rates and pipeline health to senior management.
    • Conduct frequent and effective property inspections with prospective clients across various locations in Lagos region..
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service from first contact to post-sale follow-up.
    • Negotiate and close deals professionally, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for clients and the company.
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
    • Conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.
    • Prepare and present accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
    • Ensure all sales documentation, contracts, and client records are properly maintained and compliant with company policies.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc. or HND) in Sales, Business Administration,Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
    • Professional certifications (e.g. relevant sales certifications) will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in real estate and investment sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
    • Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets in the Lagos regionsproperty market.
    • Experience in selling land, residential apartments, commercial properties, and investment packages.
    • Deep understanding of the Lagos regionsreal estate landscape, including market dynamics, pricing, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong lead generation and networking abilities.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across Lagos regionsfor inspections.

    Sales Team Lead

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead with a minimum of 5 years of proven success in real estate sales and business development.
    • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of the Abuja property market, and a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    • This role will report to the Head of Sales and will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing a high-performing team, and driving business growth across our real estate investment portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s overall goals, analyzing market trends, identifying target markets, setting sales targets, and establishing effective sales techniques and achieving sales targets.
    • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team through recruitment, training, performance target setting, regular evaluations, and ongoing guidance to ensure achievement of sales goals.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and maintaining relationships with clients, real estate agencies, property developers, and other key stakeholders. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to identify market needs and develop strategies to increase sales.
    • Oversee the lead generation process, lead qualification, and lead nurturing strategies. Maintain a robust database of leads, assign leads to the sales team, and monitor lead progress through the sales pipeline.
    • Accurately forecast sales targets, monitor progress, and regularly analyze sales data. Generate detailed reports for senior management to evaluate performance and support informed decision-making.
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Address concerns, resolve issues, and foster long-term loyalty for repeat business and positive referrals.
    • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Conduct market research to identify opportunities and refine sales strategies, keeping the company ahead in a competitive market.
    • Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Business Development, Construction, Finance, HR/Administration, and Legal to align efforts and support sales initiatives. Ensure coordinated execution of projects and adherence to legal and financial requirements.
    • Continuously enhance personal knowledge of industry trends, sales techniques, and legal regulations by attending workshops, conferences, and training programs to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Track team performance against KPIs, implement corrective actions when needed, and manage the sales pipeline to ensure consistent conversion and revenue generation.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Sales, or a related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in sales and business development within the real estate properties and investment sector.
    • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and motivating a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
    • In-depth knowledge of the Abuja real estate market, including key locations, pricing trends, and investment opportunities.
    • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales analytics tools.
