Job Summary

• We are seeking a strategic and highly experienced Head of Procurement to lead procurement operations across our retail business.
• The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of retail/supermarket procurement, supplier management, cost optimization, and inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies
• Lead and manage the procurement team across all purchasing functions
• Drive cost reduction and value optimization initiatives
• Build and manage strong supplier and vendor relationships
• Oversee procurement planning to ensure stock availability
• Monitor procurement budgets and spending controls
• Ensure compliance with company standards and procurement regulations
• Conduct market analysis and supplier benchmarking
• Provide procurement insights and reports to executive management

Requirements

• BSc Degree / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–8 years procurement experience, with leadership experience in retail/supermarket
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong financial and analytical capability
• Proficiency in ERP/procurement systems and Excel
• Must reside withinVI, or nearby areas.

• We are seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to oversee daily procurement activities and ensure timely sourcing and supply of goods within a retail/supermarket environment.
• The ideal candidate must have strong vendor management, negotiation, and inventory coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily procurement and purchasing operations
• Source and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and quality
• Ensure timely purchase and delivery of goods to prevent stock-outs
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance
• Maintain proper procurement records and documentation
• Work closely with inventory and store teams for stock planning
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Prepare procurement reports and updates for management

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years procurement experience, preferably in retail/supermarket
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of inventory and supply chain processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems
• Must reside within Lekki, VI, or nearby areas.
