    Head, Business Development Officer

    Job Summary: 

    Our client, a Micro-Insurance Company is looking to hire for the role of Head, Business Development with experience in retail commercial businesses and micro lending sectors. The Head, Business Development will assist with the development and execution of appropriate marketing and business development strategies to support the achievement of sustainable profitability and market growth. He/ She will drive the Microinsurance Company’s top line budget and grow our market share through Association, Cooperative societies and other related aggregators.  

    Job Objective: 

    • To drive the Microinsurance Company’s top line budget and grow our market share through Association, Cooperative societies and other related aggregators. 
    • The main focus of this position is to ensure Development of Microinsurance General Business and Life Insurance within Low Income earner, Micro and small Business Enterprises, through strategic partnership with Cooperative Societies, Community Base Association, Unions and other Channels and institutions that are involved in development of people at the Bottom of the Pyramid. You will also be creative in delivering low valued and low premium Microinsurance products that can add value to different strata of the market, Ensure delivery of effective and efficient service to customers, proper management of customer’s relationship for the growth of our clientele base and overall profitability of the business. 

    Job Requirements: 

    • HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
    • A minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience with Cooperative Unions who have vast knowledge and contacts that can transform into business development opportunity.
    • Relative connection and familiarity with Microfinance Institution or other multilateral institution involve in microcredit.

    Business Development Manager

    With a wide range of business client and a network of connections, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for bringing businesses, identifying sales leads, pitching our HR outsourcing services to prospective clients and maintaining a good working relationship with old and new contacts.

    Job Responsibilities: 

    • Identifying sales leads, pitching HR outsourcing services to old and new clients.
    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
    • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
    • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.

    • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

    Executive Assistant

    Job Summary: 

    Serves as the administrative and functional point person for the Chairman’s corporate, community, and personal matters to ensure smooth functioning of activities and processes in multiple lines of business. Requires full time availability with flexible hours. Requires a desire to learn and expand responsibilities.

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties satisfactorily:
    • Manage multiple projects as assigned by the Chairman related to diverse lines of business, community, and personal interests with inter-related activities and relationships.
    • Coordinates calendar, travel, meeting, and schedule arrangements for the Chairman, staff, business partners, and customers. Includes initiating contact and securing appointments, equipment, and facilities as appropriate.
    • Works closely with other team members to assure the Chairman’s preparation for meetings, presentations or other engagements. Administrative and functional activities include but are not limited to taking phone calls, maintaining personal and business files, corporate record keeping for multiple entities, supporting marketing and strategic planning activities, note taking & creating documentation, filing, storage & retrieval of business and personal activities.
    • Handles financial and accounting matters for the chairman with confidentiality.
    • Prepares and sends business and private correspondence.
    • Coordinates operations of Chairman’s office including reception, document preparation & control, internal communications, and general office maintenance to improve costs and effectiveness.
    • Carries out responsibilities with professionalism, respect for others, in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
    • Any other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements: 

    • Age: between 25 and 40.
    • MBA/ M.Sc. with strong financial management is compulsory.
    • Minimum of two years of work experience.
    • Skills: excellent communication skills; analytical skills; clarity in communication; relevant IT skills.
    • Ability to work with very little supervision.
