    Guardian Counselor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ensure students who seek guidance and counseling services are attended to.
    • Conduct career and educational planning activities and mentor students for career and social development.
    • Implement individual and group counseling sessions as deemed appropriate.
    • Facilitate placement of students into appropriate subject/career/vocational studies.
    • Oversee and coordinate all mentoring assemblies and teacher mentoring sessions.
    • Mentor and counsel students after completion of punishment.
    • Connect students, parents or staff with specialized referral agencies where necessary i.e. Special Needs Assessment Agencies, etc.
    • Assist students set reasonable and realistic academic, social, and career goals.
    • Organize social and emotional seminars for students and staff.
    • Counsel and guide Students on post-secondary studies in and outside the country
    • Research and liaise with local and foreign higher institutions.
    • Any other duties assigned.

    Education and Work Experience

    • First degree in Guidance Counseling, Psychology or any related field.
    • A Master’s Degree in Counseling or Psychology is an added advantage.
    • Five years (5) years’ work experience.

    History Teacher

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan, prepare, administer and grade tests and assignments to evaluate student's progress in the subject.
    • Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to students.
    • Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests
    • Use experiments, practical or project-based teaching to enhance and improve students learning
    • Promote high academic standards in students’ Performances in accordance with the approved benchmarks.
    • Draw up short and long-term plans that will ensure that each child is working towards set learning goals.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelors degree in relevant Education courses

    Robotics /STEM Teacher

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop and deliver engaging robotics lessons for students across various age groups.
    • Integrate robotics into a comprehensive STEM curriculum, focusing on hands-on learning and problem-solving.
    • Teach coding languages such as Python and C++ to students interested in robotics and automation.
    • Instruct students on the principles of electronics and circuit design as applied to robotics.
    • Guide students through project-based learning experiences where they design, build, and program robots.
    • Prepare students for robotics competitions by teaching advanced robotics techniques and strategies.
    • Design and refine a robotics curriculum that aligns with educational standards and industry trends.
    • Supervise and support extracurricular robotics clubs, fostering a community of robotics enthusiasts.
    • Manage a robotics lab, ensuring equipment is maintained and safe for student use.
    • Teach concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning as they apply to robotics.
    • Integrate educational technology tools and platforms to enhance robotics learning experiences
    • Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student learning outcomes in robotics.
    • Guide students in conducting robotics research projects, encouraging innovation and experimentation.
    • Oversee all aspects of a school's robotics program, including curriculum development, budgeting, and strategic planning.
    • Organize guest lectures and demonstrations by robotics experts to inspire students and provide practical insights.
    • Introduce students to 3D printing, laser cutting, and other digital fabrication techniques relevant to robotics.
    • Update all statutory records such as the Scheme of Work, Attendance Register, Mark-Sheets, Psychomotor and Affective domains in the Diary.

    Education and Work Experience

    Nursery Class Teacher

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop a creative program suitable for preschool pupils, utilizing the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, Jolly Phonics
    • Employ a variety of teaching techniques such as storytelling, educational play, drawing, handcrafts, singing, use of technology, etc.
    • Provide a safe and secure environment in which the pupils can learn.
    • Maintain open communication with your pupils’ parents through the Communication Book, Emails and official Phone Calls and to report serious issues to the Upper Elementary Supervisor for onward prompt resolution.
    • Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
    • Observe and monitor children’s play activities.
    • Keep records on individual children including daily observations and information about activities, meals served and medication administered (only through the nurse) .
    • Organize and participate in recreational activities such as games.
    • Organize and store toys and materials to ensure orderliness in activity areas.
    • Dress children and change diapers.
    • Identify signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and escalate to supervisors and then parents, if instructed.
    • Help children learn and keep good hygiene.
    • Introduce children to basic concepts such as manners by teaching them to share, take turns e.t.c
    • Work as a team with colleagues to ensure that all pupils are tidy and pupil’s things are organized when leaving the school.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Minimum of National Certificate in Education (NCE)
    • Training in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and Jolly Phonics
    • 4 years experience in teaching in a Montessori or EYFS environment
