    Job Description

    • A Generator Mechanic specialises in the installation, inspection, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and overhaul of diesel, gas, or propane-powered generators (standby, portable, and prime power units).

    Main Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, fuel, and control system issues using diagnostic tools and manuals.
    • Perform preventive maintenance (oil/filter changes, lubrication, coolant checks, battery service) and emergency repairs.
