Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded, and highly competent General Manager to lead the overall operations, performance, and growth of our multiple supermarket locations.
• This is a senior management position for a strategic and hands-on leader who can coordinate multiple branches, drive revenue, improve operational efficiency, control costs, strengthen customer experience, and ensure consistent performance across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction across all supermarket branches
• Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business growth and profitability
• Monitor the performance of all branches and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets
• Develop and track sales targets, KPIs, budgets, and operational performance indicators
• Supervise Branch Managers, Store Managers, department heads, and other key personnel
• Ensure effective inventory management, stock control, replenishment, and reduction of stock losses
• Monitor procurement, supplier relationships, pricing, and product availability
• Analyse sales performance, customer trends, margins, expenses, and branch profitability
• Identify underperforming branches and implement corrective action plans
• Ensure excellent customer service and a consistent customer experience across all locations
• Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Monitor cash management and ensure proper accountability across branches
• Work closely with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives
• Lead regular branch performance reviews and management meetings
• Ensure branches comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and health and safety standards
• Drive staff productivity, discipline, accountability, and performance management
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, new product categories, promotions, and revenue growth
• Resolve major operational, customer, staffing, and supplier issues effectively
• Prepare regular management reports and provide actionable recommendations to the Managing Director

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant management experience, preferably within retail, supermarket, FMCG, or multi-branch operations
• Proven experience managing multiple outlets or branches
• Strong understanding of supermarket and retail operations
• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and hold managers accountable for results
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, sales, merchandising, and retail controls
• Strong commercial and financial understanding, including budgeting, cost control, margins, and profitability
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong analytical ability with good knowledge of Excel and business reporting tools
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities
• High level of integrity, accountability, discipline, and professionalism
• Ability to develop systems, improve processes, and drive measurable business results

• The successful candidate must be able to walk into a multi-branch supermarket operation, understand its numbers, identify operational weaknesses, improve branch performance, strengthen controls, and build a culture of accountability.
• You should be commercially sharp, confident in dealing with senior management, capable of managing branch managers, and comfortable making difficult decisions when necessary.

Job Summary

• We are looking for an accountant who understands that working in a consulting firm requires more than routine bookkeeping.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring transactions, supporting financial planning, managing reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up to date financial records and accounting entries
• Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and financial summaries
• Monitor income, expenses, invoices, payments, and receivables
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records regularly
• Prepare and monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditure
• Track project related expenses and support financial monitoring across creative projects
• Ensure proper documentation and approval of financial transactions
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables
• Support payroll preparation and other routine financial processes
• Maintain organised digital accounting records and supporting documentation
• Assist management with financial analysis and decision making
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, tax requirements, and internal financial procedures
• Identify financial discrepancies, control weaknesses, and potential risks, and recommend appropriate solutions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, and financial controls
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple financial responsibilities
• Previous experience working with a creative agency, media company, advertising company, technology company, or other project based business is an advantage.
