Job Brief

• A frontend angular developer implements web design to create an optimal interface through programming languages like HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Simply put, they are responsible for the design and outlook of the website.

Responsibilities

• Ensure responsive implementation;
• Help write new design patterns, improve and adapt existing design component integration;
• Architect complete front-end stack of projects using HTML/CSS and TypeScript with Angular
• Ensure implementation is globalized;
• Contribute to the architecture, design, and coding of our next-generation web-based enterprise solutions;
• Implement UI component design focused on re-usability / scalability/extensibility/supportability;
• Collaborate with fellow developers, designers, and analysts to solve problems.
• Using the Angular command-line interface allows developers to code and configure web applications.
• Interacting with external website services.
• Assisting with workflow coordination between HTML programmers and graphic designers.
• Writing understandable HTML, JavaScript, and cascading style sheets (CSS) code.
• Making decisions regarding technical and design aspects of the Angular project.

Requirements

• Experience in collaborating with teams;
• Experience with using Jira and the Atlassian Suite;
• Strong drive to learn and produce beautiful code;
• Experience with source control;
• Strong hands-on development with Single Page Applications;
• 3+ years of experience developing dynamic, highly interactive user interfaces for the web;
• Ability to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful web services;
• Experience working on web-based projects in an agency environment;
• DevOps experience such as creating configuration, building, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments;
• Well-versed in software architecture patterns;
• Familiar with basic web technologies such as CSS, HTML, etc

• SoftNet Limited, a company based in Abuja, is looking for an experienced Java Software Developer who is highly motivated and skilled to join their dynamic team.
• The Java Software Developer will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that are high-performing for clients.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and robust software solutions that meet the requirements of clients as well as industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using Java programming language.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems and services.
• Implement and maintain Microservices Architecture to ensure scalability and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Perform API documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Integrate Payment APIs/SDKs to facilitate secure and seamless transactions.
• Work with relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Utilize message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Developer with a minimum of 3 years in software development.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks such as Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with API documentation tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with Payment API/SDK integration.
• Solid understanding of database technologies including SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in version control systems, especially Git.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
