Provide leadership in strategy formulation and forward planning of all SCM activities in the organization including formulation and implementation of cost estimation and optimization models
Offer support in Planning, Performance Reporting and Analytics with a focus on data analysis, KPI reporting, and preparation of management information to support SCM Leadership;
Drive and monitor performance of vendors using standard tools as well as formulate policy for the strategic planning, development, selection and maintenance of sources of supply for goods and services purchased by the business
Develop and monitor contract plan for all the projects and categories to ensure that the corporate business plan is achieved.
Offer mentorship, training and development to young SCM business leaders
Must Have
Strong capability in managing over 400 contracts and vendors
Experience - 15 years’ with 10 years in SCM functions preferably in Oil and gas, E&P industry
Engineering, commercial, social science disciplines, vast EPC contract experiences, systems, tools and practices. MBA is an added advantage
Talent would deliver on costâ€control and recovery services for engineering projects by ensuring engineering expenditures are budgeted for, approved by management and appropriate contribution recovered from JV partners and any other stakeholders.
Coordinate and prepare presentation and support documents during SUBCOM, TECOM and OPCOM engagements.
Maintain and follow procedures for JV cost control and accounting for all engineering CAPEX and OPEX items to ensure proper accounting and recovery of cost from partners.
Ensure proper budgeting of Engineering projects and ensure that project naming/title is in sync with project activity. Prepare and present Engineering project quarterly performance to DPR
Monitor expenditure versus Value of Work Done for all ongoing contracts/projects and produce cost forecasts to provide timely notification of potential over/underruns to ensure budget is not overrun and timely cashcalls.
Degree in Engineering or related discipline
10 years post graduate experience with at least 8 years in Engineering and Project Management.
