Tasks & Responsibility

• Generate ideas for new products and research feasibility in terms of profitability, resource availability and compliance with regulations
• Plan, organize and oversee process or production trials, making improvements or modifications to current processes and formulating new production processes or stages within processes
• Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans, and preparing return-on-investment analyses with sales, advertising, production and accounts.
• Recommend the scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product or packaging changes
• Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
• Maintain knowledge on all regulatory issues as relating to the company’s products and ensures compliance
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• First degree in Food Science and Technology or related fields, MSc. in FST is an advantage.
• Proven work experience as research & development personnel in food manufacturing industry

• Monitor operating system and work out strategy to improve cohesion of cross functional processes for overall business effectiveness
• Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement
• Ensure daily operations are done correctly, cost effectively and in alignment with quality specifications
• Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves targets relative to growth and profitability
• Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
• Track, measure and drive staff performance and competence level for operation
• Set and review annual budgets and schedule allocations

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about micro and macro-economics and their application for business management
• Sound understanding of financial management
• Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• Leadership, steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Proven experience as COO in the manufacturing industry and in executive leadership position
• First degree in Business Administration or related field, MBA/MSc. is preferred

Job Description

• Plan, develop and direct marketing and sales efforts to increase the visibility and sales volume of all of AACE Foods spices
• Establish and maintain positive business relationships with distributors and organized markets for immediate and future sales
• Undertake market survey and customer habit analysis to determine what innovations will attract customer loyalty and result in increased sales
• Generate strategies that grow market shares, improve customer experience and drive growth of entire spice line
• Generate reports on market needs, competitor activities, sales projections and achievements to the management
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
• Attend and participate in trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations to represent AACE Foods

Requirements

• Able to select a good team and motivate team members to produce desired results
• Proactive; quick to take initiative and deliver innovative strategic solutions
• Excellent budget management skills
• Have a consistently refreshed understanding of customer behavior
• First degree in Marketing or related fields is required. MBA/MSc. Marketing is preferred.
• Proven experience as sales manager in food manufacturing, preferably spices and seasonings.
