• Consistently achieve sales targets across the product portfolio and meeting and exceeding the sales P&L
• Generate leads, convert leads to customers and existing customers into repeat customers
• Drive the initiatives to grow SME portfolio as well as customer acquisition and profitability
• Support the business to formulate and implement a SME proposition and product development strategy, establishing a core suite of propositions and products for identified segments
• Evaluate features, profitability, and positioning of products and ensure each maximizes customer take-up and commercial reward for the bank
• Training Sales and Marketing Officers on Products and Offerings to improve product knowledge and drive SME loan origination
• Ensure that mobile salesforce is fully focused on clear targets; allocate and report on the appropriate level of effort and resources, defining optimal KPIs for the salesforce efficiency and effectiveness.
• Develop and manage mobile sales operating budgets
• Undertake market research and analysis and come up with a business plan and or recommendations (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business) to ensure that all business development opportunities (new products, services and markets) are optimized
• Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
• Ensure that all sales activities meet and exceed budget, cost, volume and efficiency targets (Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)) in line with business objectives.
• Ensure all members of the team are continuously highly motivated and leading from the front.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in any relevant field. (Advanced degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred)
• Postgraduate degree is a plus
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Managerial position in sales and business development.
• Analytical mindset with in-depth understanding of lending processes and procedures
• Strong blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem-solving skills
• Previous P&L responsibility for a significant organization or business unit
• Highly entrepreneurial. Very hands-on in defining objectives and executing deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
• Previous experience working in a financial institution, or a SME Focused business is required.

Description

• Ensuring availability of UAT and production applications and foster capacity planning for production infrastructures. Monitoring of existing systems/applications using monitoring tools
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operations
• Troubleshooting problems that span systems, databases, storage, network, and codes while suggesting/implementing security measures for the protection of systems, networks, and information
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity
• Minimize and mitigate the risk of reliability-related failures pertaining to systems availability, performance, and correctness. Ensuring investigation into warnings and alerts from monitoring systems, Incident response, diagnosis, and follow-up on system outages
• Documentation of process and procedure manuals.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of databases and SQL and minimum of 3 years work experience.
• Comfortable with Open-Source configuration management and orchestration tools (chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
• Knowledge of Docker, Docker swamp, Fargate, and Kubernetes
• Experience with caching systems such as Kafka and Redis
• Working experience with building monitoring tools and setting measurement metrics
• Proficiency with shell and a programming language used in an SRE/Operations engineering context (Python, Go, Ruby, etc.) will be an added advantage
• Experience with operating in a high availability environment
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
• Experience in working with remote teams
• Server Administration skills (Redhat, Windows, CentOs, Ubuntu)
