    Plant Manager (Pharmaceutical)

    Qualification

    • Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering/Engineering or a related field. Pharmacy. MBA or advanced management qualification is an advantage
    • Have 10–15+ years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 8 years in senior plant leadership.
    • Must be commercially astute, technically grounded pharmaceutical manufacturing leader with deep experience in: (i) Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) – tablets, capsules, coating, (ii) Powder processing, (iii) Liquid dosage forms, (iv) WHO GMP–compliant environments, (v) Full lifecycle plant commissioning
    •  Have managed regulatory inspections (NAFDAC, WHO GMP, or equivalent international bodies).

    Responsibility

    • Lead end-to-end pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
    • Drive the design, construction, equipment selection, and commissioning of new GMP-compliant facilities.
    • Institutionalize operational excellence and compliance systems.
    • Prepare the plant for world-class regulatory inspections.
    • Build a high-performance technical leadership team.
    • Deliver aggressive cost, yield, and efficiency targets.
    • Transition new facilities from project phase into stable commercial production

    Head of Formulation

    ​​​​​​​Requirements:

    • Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation, with a focus on liquid syrups and suspensions.
    • Proven experience in drug formulation, stability testing, and scale-up processes.
    • Hands-on expertise in resolving formulation-related issues during development and manufacturing.

    Responsibility

    • Lead pharmaceutical formulation including liquid syrups, ensuring adherence to regulatory, quality, and safety standards.
    • Oversee the development and optimization of pharmaceutical suspensions, emulsions, and other liquid-based formulations.
    • Manage end-to-end new product development, from conceptualization to commercialization.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve formulation challenges to enhance stability, efficacy, and manufacturability.
    • Establish and maintain specifications for new and reformulated products.
    • Ensure seamless transfer of formulations from R&D to large-scale manufacturing.
    • Maintain full documentation of formulation trials and prepare necessary reports on feasibility and performance.
