    Senior Business Manager

    Responsibilities

    Increase Revenue-Earning Customers' Net Additions – Prepaid & Postpaid

    • Identify and formulate state sales strategies to help drive gross additions
    • Supervise health of acquisitions and compliance on activations
    • Oversee activating connections as per the stipulated turnaround times

    Increase Revenue from the State

    • Meet the revenue targets for Prepaid and Postpaid in the State
    • Focus on revenue growth through Data and Smartphone growth
    • Focus on revenue growth by driving high value customers through MNP & Postpaid & Smartphone customers

    Expand Distribution Width and Depth

    • Identify and formulate state sales strategies to help drive distribution across showrooms and Dealer Service Agents
    • Ensure expansions to align to dimensioned number of Active Easy Charge Outlets
    • Establish SIM Selling Outlets and other categories of retail outlets as a % of Easy Charge Outlets

    Network Coverage & Quality

    • Network Optimization

    • Follow through with ZTOs in delivering cell availability, quality of calls and reduction of outages at sites within state

    Deliver Showroom Experience

    • Identify and formulate Customer Service Delivery Strategies to help improve customer satisfaction scores
    • Ensure provision of standard Infrastructure at state showrooms
    • Ensure showroom employees are up skilled in industry training and certifications for the role

    Achieve Employee Engagement Scores in line with the Engagement Target for the State Business Area

    • Continuously motivate the front-line employees through leadership by examples
    • Implement all action plans that will address hygiene issues etc. from engagement survey

    Qualifications
    Educational Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Management or related Social Sciences
    • Master's in Business Administration would be preferred additional qualification

    Relevant Experience

    • 10+ years of varied experience in Sales & Marketing with at least 2 years at middle management level handling independent businesses
    • Relevant experience in Telecom industry is desirable

    Capacity Planning Engineer

    Responsibilities

    Design & Monitor UTRAN Interfaces.

    • Design the UTRAN interfaces based on traffic forecast
    • Monitor the traffic trend and ensure to keep system within the target utilization threshold
    • Recommend cost effective solutions

    Capacity Planning

    • Follow up with core network and transport planning to ensure end-to-end capacity planning is maintained
    • Ensure that utilization of all the technology layers is efficiently managed.
    • Understand the HW and SW capabilities of the telecom equipment.
    • Carry out capacity plan for special events and sudden traffic increase.

    Technology evolution

    • Ensure balanced traffic loading between different technologies
    • Plan and design future-proof solutions.
    • Apply insights from geo-location platform, Facebook and other sources to proactively forecast and plan network capacity.
    • Maintain the HW and SW roadmaps tracker and ensure that capacity enhancement features are sourced and deployed at the right time.

    Qualifications

    Educational Qualifications 

    • University degree in Electronic/Electrical, Computer or Telecommunication engineering
    • Proven professional training in Telecommunications sector

    Relevant Experience 

    • 5 years of experience in 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Radio Engineering
    • Experience in automation is an added advantage
    • Excellent in using excel and other Microsoft applications
    • Hands-on experience operating performance management tools and dimensioning tools

    Financial Controller

    Job Description

    • The Financial Controller is responsible for safeguarding the financial health of Smartcash PSB by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. The role oversees budgeting, accounting, audit, taxation, and financial systems, while maintaining a strong internal control environment. The incumbent will play a critical role in supporting strategic business decision-making, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks (CBN, IFRS, Companies Act, Banking Regulation Act), and driving operational excellence in finance. 

    Responsibilities

    Financial Governance & Reporting

    • Develop, implement, and maintain financial and accounting policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
    • Review and finalize statutory financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, and Notes to Accounts).
    • Release accounting guidelines/clarifications in response to evolving IFRS standards, CBN directives, and group reporting needs.
    • Act as custodian of the Chart of Accounts and Financial Delegation of Authority (FDoA).

    Regulatory Compliance & Audit

    • Ensure strict compliance with internal control frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements.
    • Liaise with statutory, tax, and internal auditors to ensure successful and timely closure of audits.
    • Guarantee timely filing of all statutory obligations, including VAT, WHT, CIT, PAYE, and other direct/indirect tax submissions.
    • Drive cross-functional compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria and other regulators’ directives.

    Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

    • Support the CFO in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial models.
    • Conduct variance analysis, profitability assessments, sensitivity testing, and scenario planning.
    • Provide management with insightful financial reports and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
    • Analyze trial balances, aging reports, impairment reviews, and working capital positions.

    Accounting Operations & Systems

    • Oversee the bookkeeping function across accounts payable, receivable, fixed assets, payroll, and reconciliations.
    • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of financial data within the general ledger.
    • Implement best-in-class accounting systems (Flexcube/Oracle) and ensure alignment with group IT/Finance architecture.
    • Safeguard company financial information, ensuring robust data security and business continuity processes.

    Team Leadership & Development

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team to achieve professional excellence.
    • Build cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective delivery of finance-related services.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the Finance function.

    Qualifications

    Educational Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance, or related discipline.
    • ACA/CPA/CFA will be an advantage.

    Relevant Experience

    • 13–18 years of progressive experience in finance roles within banking, payments, or financial services.
    • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior FINCON role in a CBN-regulated bank (mandatory).
    • Strong track record in financial reporting, compliance, audit management, and team leadership.

    Skills

    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, CBN guidelines, and Nigerian tax regulations.
    • Expertise in Flexcube Banking / Oracle Accounting systems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
