    MCC Defects Control Engineer

    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    • To keep constant control and follow up of aircraft opened and recurrent defects and generate the required maintenance actions request to maintain it to a minimum level and ensure a high
    • Technical Dispatch Reliability of APL fleet.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitor and control APL fleet open and repetitive defects, performing a depth analysis of all available data on Maintenance Software, Tech log Pages and verbal information from flight and maintenance crews and generate WO with proper troubleshooting recommendations, avoiding repetition of maintenance actions and unnecessary components removal.
    • Assist the MCC Duty Engineer and Line Maintenance Team to analyze significant AOG events and complex defects and provide technical recommendations that allow a safe and fast recovery of the aircraft.
    • Constantly monitor Aircraft Health Monitoring software AHEAD- PRO for Embraer E190, E195E2 Fleet and AHM for Boeing B777 Fleet and advise Line maintenance teams for the necessary maintenance actions on the critical faults that can have a direct impact on the technical serviceability of the respective fleet.
    • Control and analysis of current and historical CMC/FHDB faults for E145 and Technical Log pages for 3737-300 to generate MCC Work Orders for its T/S and correction, avoiding these faults becoming critical and can affect aircraft serviceability.
    • Closely monitor APL fleet technical delays and maintenance events to generate action plans that prevent its repetition and thus increase technical dispatch reliability.
    • Perform analysis of MEL critical Items (CAT A, B and C) especially those with operational limitations and provide T/S recommendations to line maintenance team.
    • Provide to APL Technical Services department all available T/ S information including performed maintenance actions to request additional recommendations from OEMs when initial Trouble shooting steps have been exhausted.
    • Generate and send a Weekly Repetitive Defects Report to APL Engineering & Maintenance Management, Line Maintenance Team, and CAMO Department.
    • Support MCC On Duty Engineer when required due to rotations, training and other assignments.
    • Comply with APL Safety, Health and Policy and Standard Procedures.
    • Assist Quality department during investigation of maintenance related issues.
    • Provide on-the-job training to other Maintenance Control Center team members with less experience that allows them to understand the principles and procedures of MCC Department.
    • Perform other tasks that may be reasonably assigned by her/his manager.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • License Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
    • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the aircraft maintenance industry in the capacity of returning aircraft to service and 3 years as MCC Engineer.
    • Aircraft Technical License (Bl/B2) with at least one APL fleet added to his/her license.
    • Strong leadership and communications skills.

    Revenue Management Route Analyst

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The Revenue Management Routes Analyst is responsible for optimizing passenger revenue across assigned domestic, regional, and international routes through effective demand forecasting, inventory control, pricing support, and performance analysis. The role supports strategic and tactical revenue decisions to maximize yield, load factor, and overall network profitability in line with Air Peace's commercial objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Route Revenue Optimization

    • Monitor and manage revenue performance for assigned routes (domestic, regional, and/or international).
    • Optimize seat inventory through appropriate booking class controls, availability management, and forecast adjustments.
    • Support overbooking levels and spill management in line with approved policies.
    • Identify underperforming routes or flights and recommend corrective actions.

    Demand Forecasting & Analysis

    • Analyze historical booking patterns, seasonality, and market trends to produce accurate demand forecasts.
    • Track booking curves, pick-up trends, load factors, yields, and RASK by route and flight.
    • Identify demand anomalies and proactively escalate risks or opportunities to the Revenue Management Supervisor.

    Pricing & Fare Support

    • Support fare structure reviews, tactical pricing actions, and promotional initiatives.
    • Monitor competitive pricing and market behavior across relevant markets.
    • Ensure correct fare availability and alignment with revenue strategy across all sales channels (direct, GDS, BSP, interline).

    Disruption & Re-protection Support

    • Support revenue decision-making during disruptions (overbooking, cancellations, aircraft changes).
    • Analyze revenue impact of re-protection decisions and provide post-disruption performance feedback.
    • Work closely with Commercial Scheduling and CRC during major irregular operations.

    Reporting & Performance Monitoring

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports by route and market.
    • Track KPIs including load factor, yield, revenue variance, booking mix, and no-show trends.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve route profitability.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Liaise closely with:

    • Network Planning (capacity and schedule alignment)
    • Commercial Scheduling (inventory and availability control)
    • Sales teams (domestic, regional, international)
    • Distribution and Pricing teams.
    • Support alignment between revenue strategy and sales execution.

    Systems & Data Management

    • Use Revenue Management and PSS tools (e.g. Hitit, Aviator,
    • GDS, RM dashboards) to manage and analyze data.
    • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in revenue reports.
    • Support testing and validation of RM-related system changes where required.
    • Route Coverage
    • Depending on assignment, the analyst may cover:
    • Domestic routes (high-frequency, short-haul optimization)
    • Regional routes (Africa network, connectivity and yield balance)
    • International routes (long-haul demand stimulation, seasonality,
    • high-cost route protection)

    EDUCATIONAL

    QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

    • Bachelors degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Aviation Management, Business, or related field
    • Minimum 2 years' experience in airline revenue management, pricing or commercial analysis (aviation experience preferred)
    • Strong analytical and numerical skills
    • Good understanding of airline inventory control, fare structures and distribution channels
    • Must have experience working with PSS/RM System. HIT IT experience will be an added advantage
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis tools
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Strong attention to details and data accuracy
    • Commercial awareness and revenue-focused
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Clear communication and reporting skills
    • Team-oriented with strong stakeholder management skills

    KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

    • Route revenue and yield performance — achieve agreed revenue growth quarter-on-quarter on assigned routes.
    • Load factor optimization - maintain average load factor across assigned routes.
    • Forecast accuracy - limit variance between forecasted and actual revenue on monthly basis.
    • Timeliness and quality of reporting - submit 100% of daily, weekly, and monthly reports on or before deadline. Maintain zero critical data errors in management reports and resolve data discrepancies within 24 hours of identification.
    • Effectiveness of revenue actions implemented - implement revenue initiatives per quarter (e.g. fare adjustments, promo campaigns, route restructuring).

    Aircraft Engineer (B777)

    JOB SUMMARY

    • The B77 Engineer is responsible for performing inspections and certify maintenance work carried out on company/third party aircraft in line with regulatory requirements and company standards to uphold high safety standards and scheduling integrity.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Assign and carry out inspections, repair, replacement and modification tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems.
    • Weekly planning of resources (manpower, materials, and tooling).
    • Allocation and supervision of tasks and activities for team of Technicians.
    • Trouble shooting of multiple systems in accordance with standard operating procedures.
    • Make decision on optimum material and resource usage, task allocation, quality, and maintenance deviations in line with regulatory requirements.
    • Communicate with internal/external customers on progress status of the aircraft, required parts and serviceability of aircrafts.
    • Ensure tasks are performed to meet company standards and targets.
    • Review work procedures and standards and propose improvements to procedures to ensure effectiveness.
    • Identify and make requisition of the required aircraft parts and Tools.
    • Report incidents / accident occurrences as per company procedures
    • Ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded accurately & signed for to maintain correct & up to date aircraft history /data.
    • Adhere to the company safety, health, and environmental policy.
    • Supervise and Develop Technicians for improved competency/ efficiency.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

    • Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline
    • Mechanical/ Electrical/AeronauticaI/Instrumentation).
    • EASA type training on the B777 with Trent 800 and GE Engine options.
    • At least 5 years aircraft maintenance certifying experience on the 8777 fleet.
    • EASA/ICAO type II Basic License (Bl or B2) with B777 Endorsement.
    • In-depth knowledge on aircraft systems
    • In-depth knowledge of Aviation Legislation/Regulations
    • Proficiency in computer applications and MRO system
    • Ability to interpret technical data.
    • Inspection and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Supervisory skills
