    Fleet Operations Manager

    Job Purpose

    • The Fleet Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management of the company’s fleet of vehicles.
    • You will have supervisory oversight over all officers in the value chain of operations support.
    • These include Mechanics, Electricians and Fleet Officers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Draw up weekly/monthly operational planning schedules for the unit.
    • Ensure implementation of standard operational procedures for fleet management.
    • Ensure fleet availability to meet all requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current user trends.
    • Ensure use of fleet management software to monitor vehicle performance and cost.
    • Monitor and coordinate all activities of the fleet officers.
    • Prepare and manage annual operations budget.
    • Supervise maintenance of vehicles to reduce downtime due to repairs.
    • Ensure proper vehicle registration and documentation for all vehicles within the fleet.
    • Streamline and monitor fuel purchase system with the use of Fuel Cards for all vehicles and drivers.
    • Monitor and ensure fleet operations in compliance with government regulations.
    • Collaborate with human resources to ensure addition of quality drivers to the fleet.
    • Ensure proper drivers management to prevent bad behavior among drivers and reduce high maintenance cost.
    • Regular monitoring of fleets to avoid use of vehicles for unauthorised movements.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc. Degree / HND
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fleet operations management.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

    • Strong knowledge of transport regulations, safety standards, and compliance procedures.
    • Demonstrated ability to create and implement operational strategies for fleet management, onboarding, and performance optimisation.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
    • Proficient in using technology and platforms to manage fleet and operations.
    • Ability to manage budgets, analyse performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

    Business Development Executive

    Job Purpose

    • As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying potential clients, promoting the company’s fleet and manpower outsourcing solutions, and building strong client relationships.
    • Your primary goal will be to drive sales efforts, achieve targets, and contribute to the growth of the company by understanding client needs and proposing tailored solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify potential clients through various channels and engage them to introduce the company’s services.
    • Actively communicate and follow up with clients to build and maintain relationships.
    • Create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients, highlighting the benefits of the company’s services.
    • Work on sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets set by the company.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors within the fleet management and outsourcing industry.
    • Analyse market data and contribute to developing effective business strategies.
    • Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
    • Ensure proper contract management and adherence to agreed terms.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
    • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, targets achieved, and challenges faced.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc. Degree / HND
    • 1-3 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably in the fleet management and outsourcing industry.
    • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Familiarity with market research and analysis.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

    • Must possess a good knowledge and awareness of the market.
    • Knowledge of business development, and identification of opportunities that align to the aspiration/vision of the business.
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good time management and organisational skills
    • Good selling / marketing Skills
    • Good negotiation skills
    • Eager to expand the company with new sales, clients, and territories
    • Able to analyse data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions.
