- We are seeking a proactive and field-oriented Fleet Supervisor to oversee daily fleet and driver operations across multiple business locations.

Key Responsibilities
Fleet Operations Supervision:
- Provide active on-field supervision of fleet operations across company locations and loading points.
- Monitor truck dispatch, movement, loading, and offloading activities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure that trucks are deployed according to operational schedules and delivery timelines.
Driver Management & Discipline:
- Supervise and manage drivers to ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Monitor driver behavior, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to safety standards.
- Address driver-related issues and escalate disciplinary matters where necessary.
Fleet Monitoring & Performance:
- Track fleet utilization, turnaround time, and operational performance.
- Identify operational delays, inefficiencies, or irregularities and take corrective action.
- Ensure vehicles operate within approved routes and schedules.
Compliance & Documentation:
Verify and ensure proper documentation for all trips including:
- Waybills
- Trip sheets
- Delivery confirmations
- Vehicle inspection reports
- Ensure drivers carry valid licenses, permits, and required operational documents.
Safety & Operational Standards:
- Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular vehicle and driver compliance checks.
- Ensure drivers comply with road safety rules and operational safety guidelines.
Incident Management:
Respond promptly to operational incidents such as:
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Accidents
- Delivery disruptions
- Coordinate recovery efforts and report incidents to management in real time.
Reporting & Communication:
- Provide daily operational updates and reports on fleet performance.
- Maintain accurate records of truck movements, driver assignments, and operational activities.
- Communicate operational issues promptly to management.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with warehouse teams, loading supervisors, and operational staff.
- Ensure smooth coordination between dispatch locations and delivery destinations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Logistics, Transport Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 – 7 years experience in fleet supervision or logistics operations.
- Strong understanding of trucking operations and driver management.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within logistics, transportation, and supply chain sectors.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients across FMCG, manufacturing, oil & gas, and distribution industries.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement teams.
- Conduct market research to identify new service opportunities and emerging logistics needs.
Sales & Commercial Engagement:
- Lead client engagement, presentations, and commercial discussions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, operations, and finance) to develop competitive proposals and service solutions.
- Support negotiations and closure of contracts with prospective clients.
- Ensure commercial proposals align with company pricing and operational capabilities.
Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
- Drive revenue generation by securing logistics contracts and long-term service agreements.
- Track and manage sales pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue targets.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor insights to support business strategy.
Client Relationship Management:
- Ensure smooth transition of newly acquired clients to operations teams for service execution.
- Maintain strong client relationships to support retention, renewals, and service expansion opportunities.
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Logistics, or related discipline.
- 5–8 years’ experience in business development, preferably within logistics, transport, or supply chain sectors.
- Proven track record of generating new business and closing commercial deals.
- Strong industry network and market knowledge is a significant advantage.
