    Finance Manager-Gas Manufacturing

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Management Reporting - Coordination of preparation and analytical review of draft & final board papers for completeness, accuracy, and generation of business insights for decision making.
    • Risk Management - Support adequate control environment to manage existing/potential business & financial risks to the business.
    • Business Analysis - Conduct periodic analysis on customer profitability and ensure improvement initiatives on customer and channel profitability & contribution to the business.
    • CAPEX Investment Appraisal - Preparation and analysis of investments appraisal for current & new businesses, advising the business on investments’ ROI.
    • Financial Strategy - Support the development of company strategy across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions, and decision-making as appropriate, and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers.
    • Budget Preparation & Forecasting Supervise the preparation of the Annual Budget, & quarterly business reviews & monitor actual performance against plans.
    • Business Case Preparation Drive the preparation of business cases to evaluate the economic viability & financial implications of strategic business decisions.
    • Cash-Flow Management / Finance Control Full responsibility for all activities relating to account receivables, credit control/terms/limits, monitoring of credit customers, key accounts, refunds, discounts/rebates, Dr/Cr journal accuracy, customers and staff debtors account reconciliation, customer cheques, and outstanding debts.
    • Audit Support External & Internal Audit.
    • Stakeholder Management Banks & Regulators.
    • Leadership Nurturing Finance talent for future roles.
    • Any other duty assigned by CFO & CEO(s)

    QUALIFICATION:

    • First Degree in accounting or an MBA Degree from a recognized institution or an Accounting professional certification e.g., ACA/ACCA/CPA
    • A recognized certification such as CFA/CFI would be an added bonus
    • 10+ years of experience in a similar role.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Word
    • Accounting & Audit Skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of current regulatory laws and IFRS accounting policies

    • Excellent Financial Modelling with unparalleled analytical skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software
    • In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
    • Solid analytical and decision-making skills

    • Exceptional business partnering skills with business knowledge.
    • Leadership and Organizational skills, with strong people management skills.
    • People & Stakeholder management

    IT support (hardware and software) Local

    Job Description

    This position will have the overall accountability to support IT functions as mentioned below:

    • Trouble shoot IT related issues
    • Ensure timely support is provided
    • Escalate the issue immediately to the reporting Manager if not solved within stipulated period of time
    • Full knowledge of the various functions in IT
    • Installations of desktops/laptops/OS/application software and other software
    • Biometrics / access control machines
    • CCTV cameras
    • LAN (networking, laying cables, re-crimping, trunking of cables etc.)
    • Communication & Organisational skills
    • Strong Interpersonal Skills
    • Must adapt self to dynamic profiles of users

    Requirements

    • HND/B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT
    • He should have at least 10 to 12 years of industrial experience in providing IT support
    • IT support (hardware and software)
    • The role reports administratively to UNIT HEAD and technically to the GROUP IT HEAD.
    • The role envisages working with full diligence to support IT functions.
