    Finance & Accounts Officer

    Key Responsibilities
    Financial Strategy & Policy Development:

    • Design financial management strategies, processes, and policies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Review and update financial manuals and procedures to ensure relevance.

    Financial Systems & Reporting:

    • Produce accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with government regulations and standards.
    • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, revenue, and expenditures.

    Budget Management & Financial Control:

    • Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
    • Monitor and control expenses through prepayment checks and budget alignment.

    Internal Controls & Compliance:

    • Establish and enforce internal controls to prevent errors in financial reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory financial requirements and accounting standards.

    Payroll & Fixed Asset Management:

    • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and reconciliation with general ledgers.
    • Maintain fixed asset registers and coordinate periodic inventories.

    Treasury & Cash Flow Management:

    • Implement solutions for effective cash flow management and balance sheet improvement.
    • Safeguard assets by ensuring proper procedures for cash disbursements and receipts.

    Financial Forecasting & Modeling:

    • Develop accurate financial forecasts and models to inform decision-making.

    Job Requirements
    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPFA) is required.
    • At least 7 years of demonstrable experience in finance and accounting, including 3 years in nonprofit accounting and managerial roles.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and reconciliation.
    • Knowledge of financial reporting systems and data mining tools (e.g., SQL, Access).
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
    • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

    • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

    Sales Assistant

    Key Responsibilities
    Customer Service:

    • Greet customers, take orders, and provide information on food and drink offerings.
    • Serve eat-in orders using approved crockery and utensils or package take-out orders appropriately.
    • Deliver best-in-class customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints promptly.

    Sales Operations:

    • Process customer payments via the cash register or POS system and issue receipts.
    • Inform customers about promotions and upsell café products effectively.
    • Prepare daily sales reports and participate in cash register closeout processes.

    Food Health & Safety:

    • Maintain a clean and tidy service area and kitchen, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
    • Remove waste promptly and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards.

    Stock Management:

    • Portion food items as per laid-down procedures.
    • Assist with receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate stock records.

    Store Operations:

    • Execute daily store opening and closing procedures in line with company guidelines.

    Job Requirements
    Education & Experience:

    • SS3 Pass Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food service, hospitality, marketing, sales, or customer service.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of sales standards and customer service routines.
    • Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards.

    Attention to detail, numeracy, and literacy skills.

    • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
    • Proficiency with computer systems and software used in retail operations.
