    Field Service Engineer - Mechanical

    • We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join our team. He will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of our mechanical equipment and systems through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. His expertise will directly contribute to minimizing downtime, maintaining production efficiency, and upholding the highest safety standards.
    • The Field Service Engineer will assume responsibility for the execution of planned and unplanned After- Sales/Service activities in order to sustain and strengthen the ongoing relationship between our customers in our core business areas, namely GEA Equipment.

    Responsibilities / Tasks

    Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:

    • Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and component replacements on machinery.
    • Utilize predictive maintenance techniques.
    • Maintain accurate records of activities.

    Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:

    •  Quickly and effectively diagnose mechanical failures, malfunctions, and performance issues on production equipment and facility systems.
    • Identify root causes of problems to prevent recurrence.
    • Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools effectively.

     Repairs & Overhauls:

    •  Perform corrective maintenance, including disassembly, repair, replacement, and reassembly of mechanical components (bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, belts, chains, valves, cylinders, etc.)
    • Conduct equipment rebuilds, and overhauls as required.

    Installation & Modification:

    • Assist in the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
    • Perform modifications to existing equipment to improve performance, reliability, or safety.

    Safety & Compliance:

    • Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols.
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
    •   Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.

    Your Profile / Qualifications

    • Higher National Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.  
    • 1+ years hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial mechanical equipment
    •  Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles
    • Expertise in precision maintenance practices.
    • Experience with industrial equipment  
    • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.

    Field Service Engineer-Electrical

     

    • We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to test electrical systems and components. He’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
    • The Field Service Engineer will assume responsibility for the execution of planned and unplanned After- Sales/Service activities in order to sustain and strengthen the ongoing relationship between our customers in our core business areas, namely GEA Equipment

    Responsibilities / Tasks

    • Create schematics, and system designs using CAD tools (e.g. AutoCAD, EPLAN).
    • Testing & Validation: Conduct simulations and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards.  
    • Project/Service: Oversee projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and specifications are met.  
    • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical failures in existing systems.
    • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, manuals, and BOMs Bills of Materials.
    • Collaboration: Work with mechanical engineers, software developers, and suppliers to integrate systems

    Your Profile / Qualifications

    • Higher National Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.  
    • 2+ years of experience in electrical
    • Strong knowledge of power systems, circuit design, and control systems.
    • Familiarity with industry standards.  
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
