    Field Service Engineer – Chemical Dosing Systems & Technical Support

    Job Summary

    • As part of its continued growth, the company is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer – Chemical Dosing Systems & Technical Support to provide technical support, equipment maintenance, customer training, and engineering solutions across its customer base.
    • The Field Service Engineer will serve as the technical backbone of the company's chemical solutions business by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing chemical dosing systems and associated equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and the commercial team to ensure equipment reliability, provide technical guidance, and support business growth through excellent after-sales service.
    • This role requires extensive field travel, strong diagnostic skills, and hands-on experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, and process control systems.

    Key Responsibilities
    Chemical Dosing Systems Management:

    • Install, commission, calibrate, and maintain automated chemical dosing systems at customer sites.
    • Monitor dosing performance and chemical consumption to ensure accurate treatment and operational efficiency.
    • Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
    • Maintain detailed service records and equipment performance reports.

    Equipment Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

    • Diagnose and resolve electrical, electronic, mechanical, and process-related equipment faults.
    • Troubleshoot and repair dosing pumps, motors, valves, sensors, PLCs, control panels, and associated systems.
    • Perform corrective maintenance and equipment replacement where necessary.
    • Conduct root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.

    Technical Support & Customer Training:

    • Deliver technical training to customer personnel on equipment operation, preventive maintenance, safe chemical handling, and troubleshooting.
    • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and technical documentation.
    • Serve as the primary technical support contact for assigned customer accounts.
    • Provide technical guidance during product implementation and system optimization.

    Sales &  Business Support:

    • Support the Business Development team during customer visits and technical presentations.
    • Conduct site surveys and feasibility assessments for prospective clients.
    • Assist with equipment sizing, chemical consumption calculations, and technical proposal preparation.
    • Provide outstanding after-sales support to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

    Competitor Analysis & Technical Intelligence:

    • Assess competitor-installed dosing systems and process equipment.
    • Identify performance gaps and recommend superior technical solutions.
    • Prepare technical reports to support competitive sales strategies and product positioning.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • 3–5 years' hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, field service engineering, process engineering, or equipment support.
    • Experience working with industrial pumps, dosing systems, water treatment equipment, or process automation is highly desirable.

    • Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
    • Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
    • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to customer locations.

    Warehouse & Office Manager

    Job Summary

    • As part of its continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Office Manager to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and office administration while ensuring strict compliance with safety and operational standards.
    • The Warehouse & Office Manager will be responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations, chemical storage and handling, inventory accuracy, logistics coordination, and administrative functions.
    • The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing warehouse operations within the chemical or manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of chemical handling, stock management, and vendor negotiations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:

    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and movement of materials.
    • Supervise the safe handling, dosing, and blending of chemicals in accordance with approved formulations and operational procedures.
    • Ensure hazardous materials are stored and managed in compliance with HSE and regulatory standards.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
    • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages.
    • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, including PPE usage, MSDS documentation, and spill response protocols.
    • Coordinate loading and offloading activities while minimizing product loss and damage.

    Logistics & Vendor Management:

    • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations.
    • Negotiate competitive pricing and service agreements with transporters and logistics service providers.
    • Ensure timely product deliveries while optimizing transportation efficiency and costs.
    • Monitor delivery performance and resolve logistics issues promptly.

    Office & Administrative Management:

    • Maintain warehouse and operational documentation, including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), delivery notes, batch records, and stock movement reports.
    • Support finance with invoice verification, delivery confirmations, and reconciliations.
    • Oversee office administration, including facility maintenance, office supplies, and utilities.
    • Supervise warehouse personnel and ensure effective task allocation and performance management.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics,  Business Administration, Industrial Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing warehouse operations within the chemical, manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sector.
    • Practical experience handling industrial chemicals and hazardous materials.
    • Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and HSE compliance.
    • Proven experience negotiating with transporters and logistics vendors.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse/inventory management systems.
    • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of integrity with exceptional attention to detail.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Experience working with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
    • Knowledge of inventory control methodologies and warehouse optimization.
    • Professional certification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or HSE is an added advantage.
