    Field Sales Supervisor

    Role Purpose

    • The Field Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving daily field sales, seller activation, and productivity across the company’s existing sales network.
    • The role will work closely with the Regional Business Manager to ensure Marketers, Champions, Promoters, and retail partner stores remain active, productive, and focused on achieving sales targets.
    • The successful candidate will be highly field-oriented, actively engaging sellers, visiting stores and markets, generating sales opportunities, reactivating inactive channels, and ensuring leads are effectively converted into sales.

    Key Responsibilities
    Field Sales & Productivity:

    • Drive daily sales across Sales Marketers, Champions, Promoters, and retail partner stores.
    • Monitor sales activities and ensure sellers remain active and productive.
    • Generate sales opportunities directly from the field.
    • Drive sellers to achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
    • Identify gaps in sales performance and implement actions to improve results.
    • Monitor field execution and ensure sales activities translate into measurable revenue.

    Seller Activation & Development:

    • Regularly visit stores, markets, and other sales locations within the assigned territory.
    • Identify inactive and low-performing marketers and sellers.
    • Develop and implement strategies to reactivate underperforming sellers and sales channels.
    • Recruit and activate additional sales channels where required.
    • Coach sellers on customer engagement, product/service presentation, sales techniques, and conversion.
    • Motivate and support sellers to consistently achieve their assigned targets.

    Sales Pipeline & Conversion:

    • Track daily sales activities, leads, pipeline, and conversion performance.
    • Follow up on sales opportunities and ensure leads progress through to conversion.
    • Identify new sales opportunities within assigned territories.
    • Maintain strong relationships with sellers, retailers, dealers, and other field partners.
    • Support the team in improving lead conversion and overall sales productivity.

    Reporting & Team Support:

    • Provide regular reports and updates on field activities, sales performance, seller productivity, and pipeline.
    • Escalate operational blockers and field challenges promptly to the Regional Business Manager.
    • Provide relevant market feedback and intelligence from the field.
    • Support the Regional Business Manager in achieving the overall Abuja/FCT regional sales target.
    • Work closely with the Regional Business Manager to improve field execution, seller activation, and productivity.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in field sales or a similar sales supervisory capacity.
    • Experience in mobile phones, consumer electronics, telecoms, device financing, or related industries is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of the mobile phone and consumer electronics retail market.
    • Experience working with phone retailers, dealers, distributors, promoters, or similar sales networks.
    • Proven ability to drive sales, generate leads, and convert opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve field sales targets.
    • Ability to coach, motivate, manage, and drive sellers to deliver results.
    • Experience managing marketers, Champions, Promoters, merchants, or similar sales networks is an advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of Abuja/Nasarawa retail markets.
    • Existing relationships within the Abuja/Nasarawa phone and retail ecosystem will be an advantage.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
    • Hausa-speaking ability is an added advantage.
    • Energetic, proactive, target-driven, resilient, commercially minded, and results-oriented.
    • Strong problem-solving and field execution abilities.
    • Must be comfortable spending the majority of the working day in the field.
    • Candidates should ideally be based in Nasarawa or within close proximity to the assigned territory.

    Important:

    • This is a highly field-intensive role.
    • The successful candidate must be able to physically visit stores, markets, and sales locations and actively drive sales performance.
    • The role requires someone who can get people to produce results, not simply supervise them.
    • Candidates with generic supervisory experience but limited exposure to the mobile phone/consumer electronics retail ecosystem should not be considered.

    Regional Business Manager

    Role Purpose

    • The Regional Business Manager (RBM) will be responsible for driving the overall commercial performance, sales growth, and business development activities within the Abuja/FCT region.
    • The role will own the regional sales target, lead the performance of the Field Sales team, develop strategic relationships across the mobile phone and consumer electronics ecosystem, and identify and convert new business opportunities.
    • This is a highly field-based commercial leadership role that requires significant time in the market, working directly with partners, retailers, dealers, distributors, and the sales team to drive execution, improve productivity, and deliver regional targets.

    Key Responsibilities
    Regional Sales & Commercial Performance:

    • Own and drive the Abuja/FCT regional sales target.
    • Take full responsibility for the overall commercial performance of the assigned territory.
    • Build and manage the regional sales pipeline from prospecting and engagement through conversion.
    • Monitor sales performance and proactively address gaps against targets.
    • Identify, develop, and convert new business and revenue opportunities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve regional sales performance and market penetration.

    Team Leadership & Performance Management:

    • Lead and manage the Field Sales team, including the Field Sales Supervisor.
    • Set clear sales expectations, targets, and performance standards for the team.
    • Coach and mentor field sales team members to improve productivity and performance.
    • Hold team members accountable for daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
    • Drive productivity across MBEs, Promoters, Champions, and merchant channels.
    • Monitor field activities and ensure team execution translates into measurable commercial results.
    • Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions.

    Partner Management & Business Development:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, retailers, dealers, and other strategic partners.
    • Identify and pursue new partner, retailer, dealer, and store opportunities.
    • Develop commercial relationships that support sustained regional growth.
    • Negotiate and close new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
    • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts and strategic partners within the region.
    • Explore new channels and partnerships that can increase market reach and revenue.

    Field Sales Execution & Market Intelligence:

    • Spend significant time in the field monitoring sales execution and visiting partners, retailers, dealers, and sales locations.
    • Work directly with the sales team and business partners to identify and close opportunities.
    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and OEM initiatives.
    • Gather and provide regular market intelligence and actionable recommendations to management.
    • Identify operational and commercial issues affecting sales performance and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
    • Ensure effective execution of regional sales strategies and initiatives across the market.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, business development, territory management, or commercial operations.
    • Proven experience managing and driving the performance of field sales teams.
    • Strong B2B/B2C sales, negotiation, business development, and deal-closing skills.
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of the mobile phone, consumer electronics, telecoms, or related retail ecosystem.
    • Experience in mobile phones, OEM, consumer electronics, telecoms, device financing, or related industries is highly preferred.
    • Existing relationships with OEMs, distributors, major retailers, dealers, or other relevant market players will be an advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of the Abuja/FCT market and its retail and distribution channels.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
    • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management abilities.
    • Hausa-speaking ability is an added advantage.
    • Strong commercial acumen, proactive mindset, energy, resilience, and results orientation.
    • Must be comfortable spending significant time in the field and working directly within the market.

    Core Banking Application Engineer

    About the Role

    • Strivolabs is recruiting a Core Banking Application Engineer on behalf of a financial services client building modern banking infrastructure and digital financial products.
    • The engineer will be responsible for developing, extending, and maintaining the organization’s core banking platform, built on Apache Fineract and Mifos, while supporting integrations with payment systems and other financial platforms.
    • This role is suited for engineers who enjoy working on banking infrastructure, financial systems, and enterprise-grade applications.

    Key Responsibilities
    Core Banking Development:

    • Develop and implement new features for the core banking platform using Apache Fineract and Mifos.
    • Customize platform capabilities to support internal workflows, financial products, and regulatory requirements.
    • Extend platform modules supporting lending, accounts, and transaction management.

    System Integrations:

    • Integrate the core banking platform with internal services and third-party systems, including payment gateways, reporting tools, and operational platforms.
    • Design and maintain RESTful APIs to enable secure and reliable integrations.

    Platform Maintenance:

    • Hands-on experience with Apache Fineract or Mifos is highly preferred.

    Domain Knowledge:
