    Field Credit Officer - Ile-Ife

    Key Responsibilities

    • Actively promote and sell our loan products and services to small business owners within your assigned territory.
    • Conduct regular field visits to assess loan applications, evaluate applicant suitability, and guide clients through the entire application and approval process.
    • Perform thorough credit assessments, approve eligible loans, disburse funds, and actively monitor loan portfolios to ensure timely repayments.
    • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients in your territory.
    • Strictly adhere to all company credit policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
    • Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for loan disbursements, portfolio growth, and collections/recovery.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Minimum qualification: NCE or OND.
    • Experience: 0–1 year in microfinance, banking, sales, or field-based credit/marketing roles.
    • Recent NYSC graduates who are highly motivated and results-driven are strongly encouraged to apply.
    • Important: Please do not apply if you have not yet been mobilized for NYSC, are still awaiting your call-up letter, or do not have your discharge certificate.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Must be currently residing in Ile-Ife, Osun or its immediate surroundings.
    • Must be available to start work immediately (candidates who cannot commence promptly will not be considered).

    Field Loan Officer (Ganmon)

    About the Role

    • We are looking for talented, detail-oriented professionals to join our growing credit team. As a Field Loan Officer, you will play a vital role in evaluating credit applications, conducting thorough risk assessments, making sound credit decisions, actively monitoring loan portfolios, and upholding the highest credit standards — all while supporting the company’s business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Evaluate credit applications from individuals, SMEs, and corporates, and prepare comprehensive credit appraisal memos.
    • Perform detailed financial statement analysis, cash flow projections, ratio analysis, and repayment capacity assessments.
    • Conduct site visits and business inspections, and produce well-written field visit reports.
    • Recommend appropriate credit limits, pricing, collateral requirements, and loan covenants.
    • Present credit proposals to the Credit Committee when required.
    • Actively monitor your assigned credit portfolio, including early warning detection and follow-up on past-due accounts.
    • Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date credit files and documentation.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while effectively managing credit risk.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes and the overall risk management framework.

    Requirements

    • Minimum qualification: OND
    • Hands-on experience in credit/risk management is an advantage but not compulsory
    • Sound knowledge of collateral documentation and security perfection
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
