    Factory Warehouse Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Factory Warehouse Officer is responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations within the factory, including receipt, storage, documentation, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
    • The role ensures proper stock control, compliance with safety procedures, and smooth coordination with the production and logistics teams to support uninterrupted factory operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and digital systems.
    • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and organization of materials within the warehouse.
    • Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
    • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations to the supervisor.
    • Prepare and maintain dispatch documents (delivery notes, stock transfer forms, etc.).
    • Ensure timely issuance of materials to production in line with requisitions.
    • Supervise loading and unloading operations to prevent damage or loss.
    • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security standards at all times.
    • Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and periodic audits.
    • Forecast stock needs based on historical data, demands and business projections

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of B.Sc. in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • At least 3-6years experience in warehouse or factory operations (manufacturing environment preferred).
    • Good knowledge of inventory management and documentation.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and/or warehouse management software.
    • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
    • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

    Factory Logistics Officer

    Job Description

    • The Factory Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating the movement of raw materials, finished products, and supplies within and outside the factory.
    • The role ensures timely delivery, proper documentation, and smooth flow of materials to support efficient production and distribution operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate daily dispatch and delivery of finished goods to clients or designated locations.
    • Oversee the movement of raw materials and production inputs into the factory.
    • Maintain accurate logistics and delivery records, including trip sheets and waybills.
    • Monitor vehicle schedules, maintenance, and fuel usage to ensure optimal performance.
    • Liaise with drivers, warehouse, and production teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
    • Track goods in transit and provide regular updates to management.
    • Ensure all logistics activities comply with company safety and operational policies.
    • Manage third-party transporters and ensure cost-effective, timely service.
    • Support inventory control and warehouse documentation when required.
    • Prepare periodic logistics and dispatch reports.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 3 – 6 years experience in logistics or factory operations (preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment).
    • Good knowledge of transportation management, inventory flow, and documentation.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software is an advantage.
    • Excellent coordination, planning, and communication skills.
