    Facilities Lead I

    Description

    • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. 
    • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. 
    • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. 
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products
    • Coordination and communication of various issues among the company's and contractor's engineering team that affect the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work
    • Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Includes review of discipline design drawings and documents
    • Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to Company procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.
    • Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests
    • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns
    • Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor's and subcontractor's locations
    • Drives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design
    • Support internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by Supervisor.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • 15+ years relevant experience, technically sound in upstream oil and Gas Facilities / process Engineering.
    • Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications
    • Primary contact for Facilities modifications, topsides Equipment Capacity assessment, new tie-in requirements etc.
    • Strong understanding of industry codes and standards related to top side facilities modification from well head to export terminal.
    • Sound in process safety and related industry standards and codes.
    • Proficient in leading risk assessments and hazop studies.
    • Strong coordination skills across multiple functions with passion and drive to deliver projects within tight deadlines. 
    • Strong ability to influence without authority.
    • Proficient in process engineering software suite [e.g Hysys] as well as
    • Microsoft applications [Word, PowerPoint, Excel], excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Project Controls Lead III

    Job Summary

    • Project Controls Lead (PCL) implements overall project controls direction through application of systems and methods for estimate development, cost control, progress measurement, schedule development / control and management of change.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide timely and accurate data and deliverables in support of benchmarking and tool building
    • Provide overall project cost, schedule, progress measurement, and change management leadership and expertise
    • Provide support to Project Team and Stewards with cost and schedule analysis, reporting, forecasting and budgeting
    • Development of Project Controls Plan and Management of Change (MOC) Plan
    • Ensure that the Stewardship process is established and implemented, leading to monthly cost and schedule stewardship reviews
    • Coordinates and communicates priorities for new and ongoing estimating, planning and cost control activities
    • Leads preparation and maintenance of the Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), the Original Control Budget (OCB),
    • Current Control Budget (CCB) and Project Master Schedule, and Budget (Planning & Budgeting (P&B) ), and the overall cost and progress control system
    • Coordinate the collecting, analyzing, and reporting of project cost and schedule control information, to ensure overall project status is assessed and potential problem areas identified; prepares overall cost and schedule forecasts
    • Administer and facilitates the Management of Change process
    • Facilitate Capital Efficiency / Opportunities and Vulnerabilities process
    • Interface with Controllers regarding AFEs/budgets and invoices and development of Work-In-Place
    • Participate in bid evaluation process (as required)
    • Participate in developing Contract Price Budgets and Contract Control Schedules and Milestones
    • Ensure familiarity of Project Controls team with Contractor payment terms and contract coordination procedures applicable to their scope
    • Leads preparation for Gates Reviews, Advance Commitment, Full Funding or Supplement activities - Coordinates development of cost and schedule estimates in preparation of Gate and Check Point/Advance
    • Commitment reviews - Coordinate development of Estimate Confidence Packages and Estimate Development Plans
    • Respond to ad hoc requests from Project Management Team (PMT) related to Controls/Reporting
    • Consortium / Affiliate / Joint Venture presentations
    • Supports preparation of Close-out Reporting / CA$HD Input
    • Perform quality assurance at the project level by monitoring and appraising the performance of Contractors in the areas of cost control, progress measurement and schedule control
    • Responsible for ensuring that proper and effective project control measures are executed by the Contractor; including the Contractor’s cost and schedule control organization, plans and procedures
    • Review and, where appropriate, endorse schedule, progress and cost baselines and forecast prepared by contractors
    • Review progress measures reported by the Contractor
    • Review cost and schedule bases of Contractor's Change Proposals / Orders; including progress trends developed by Contractor
    • Assist site management in developing/reviewing cost and schedule corrective actions and recovery plans, and making sure needed actions/plans are implemented
    • Manage the Cost and Schedule organization including the Contractor sites and serve as the central link from the Project to the organization
    • Maintain close liaison with other members of the organization on the Project and the function
    • Coordinates development of Project Controls Implementation Plan tailored to the specific project
    • Provide feedback and mentor to project controls engineers and planners in the project
    • Ensure Functional alignment for support and approval of key deliverables (i.e. Estimate Confidence Package, Estimate Development Plan, etc.)
    • Drives and promotes capital efficiency on projects being stewarded by the department

    Requirements

    • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
    • Experience in project controls focused on cost control and schedule control achievements
    • Supervisory experience required
    • Certification(s) in the project management discipline from a recognized organization (Primavera, PMI, AACE etc.)
    • Willing to work overseas in a team environment
    • Willing to relocate to required project site
    • Knowledgeable with company project management best practices framework and key work processes

    Instrumentation and Controls Lead I

    Description

    • Define scope of all pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, assign workloads, review and implement standards/procedures including man hour estimating, cost estimating, budgeting, and progress reporting for
    • Instrumentation scope for all phases of the project.
    • Supports development and execution of centralized engineering
    • services for existing upstream production operating units and new upstream capital projects to maintain safety availability and reliability of the instrument and control systems while optimizing cost.
    • Liaise with customers, vendors, engineers, and other disciplines as required.
    • Participate in HAZOP/ LOPA reviews and in other technical, constructability and quality reviews
    • Assist in the Design, Review and Approval of Instrumentation related engineering deliverables, i.e. instrument indexes, installation details, location drawings, datasheets, wiring drawings, loop drawings, P&ID's, material requisitions, evaluation of alternatives and selection of instruments, calculations (control valve, flow elements, pressure safety valves), document control logs, bill of materials and instrument change approvals.
    • Support project Acceptance Testing (AT) including: reviewing procedures, assigning resources, periodically attending AT, and adjust commissioning scope to integrate AT successes and deficiencies.
    • Develop, track, and adjust commissioning execution schedule.

    Job Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • 15+ years of experience in upstream oil and gas facilities instrument and controls installation, Commissioning and operations. 
    • Previous experience in a closely related position and/or supervisory experience in related field
    • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria

    Contracts Administrator I

    Description

    • Responsible for stewarding and administering vendor contracts and/or orders to ensure uninterrupted goods/service delivery to buyers and compliance with controls.
    • Responsible for researching and analyzing existing contracts and making recommendations on various issues.
    • Monitors and manages contract expiration dates. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
    • Create and amend Service Requests for Production Operations contract services providers that exist on Company’s SAP system.
    • Create Service Entries for Production Operations contract agreements existing on Company’s SAP system.
    • Liaise with Contractor Representatives on a daily basis to address issues that may arise from the placement and amendment of purchase orders and the payment of invoices for work executed against those purchase orders.
    • Provide contract status reports to management for review.
    • Ensure effective contract administration through records management, advice and compliance with procurement, controls, oi and business requirements.
    • Provide support to Accounts Payable as required.
    • Coordinate with field personnel and confirm that Contractor performance evaluations (on-going or end-of service) results are captured for future contract consideration.
    • Work with Contract Advisor and Representatives to identify performance and efficiency improvement opportunities in contracts.
    • Work closely with Procurement on contract renewal, contract award, contract resolutions and contract follow-up action items.

    Job Requirement
