Duties

• To examine the financial statements of the College with a view of expressing an independent opinion that the financial operation of the College reflects true and fair view of the financial transaction during the period under review.
• To prepare audit report and submit to the College

Qualification
Interested Audit Firms are invited to submit the following documents:

• Verifiable evidence of incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
• Must be registered in the office of the Auditor General
• Qualified Chartered Accountant/Auditor registered with ICAN or ANAN.

Tenure of Appointment

• The appointment is for a term of one (1) year in the first instance and renewable annually based on satisfactory performance not exceeding four (4) years.
• The remuneration is negotiable in line with public service rules.

Job Description

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the College.
• He/She is responsible to the Provost for the day to day administration of the College and shall perform such other duties as Governing Council or, as the case may be, the Provost may from time to time require him/her to do.
• He/She is one of the Principal Officers of the College. He/She heads Registry Department and custodian of College documents.
• He/She is the Secretary to the Council, the Academic Board and any committee of the Council.

Qualifications and Experience
The candidate for the post must possess the following qualifications and qualities:

• Possession of relevant Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Education or Management from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least eighteen (18) years cognate experience. Possession of Doctorate Degree is an added advantage.
• Must be a registered member of a recognized professional body.
• Must have been a Deputy Registrar on CONTEDISS 15 (Preferably in a College of Education System).
• Must be Computer literate.
• Candidate must not be above fifty-nine (59) years of age at the time of submission of application.
• Demonstrate evidence of strong administrative leadership, initiative and creativity in administration policy formulation, good human relation and positive managerial attributes.
• Be a person who is not likely to pursue, racial, gender, political, religious or other sectional interest.
• Be morally sound, of impeccable character and proven integrity.
• Be physically and mentally fit (with evidence from a Government Hospital.)

Terms Of Appointment

• The appointment is for a tenure of five (5) years in the first instance, but may be eligible for re-appointment for a second and final term of five (5) years based on satisfactory performance and prevailing extant law.
• The salary/remunerations are as contained in the Conditions of Service for Registrar of Federal Colleges of Education in Nigeria, and may be determined by Government policies from time to time.
