Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team at Pally Food Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout our food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including electric motors, pumps, and control panels.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify root causes of problems.
• Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including circuit breakers, fuses, and wiring.
• Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating electrical equipment.
• Safety: Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members, production staff, and management to ensure efficient operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize electrical systems and processes.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: HND/ BSC in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience* Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrical technician in a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Certification: Relevant certifications, such as NEMA or IEC, are an added advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance, with knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Working Conditions:

• Work Environment: Fast-paced food processing facility with varying temperatures and noise levels with accommodation

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
