    Electrical Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Engineer

    Requirements

    • A relevant BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a professional certification in Electrical Engineering being an advantage.
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5years specifically in offshore pre-commissioning and commissioning in the oil and gas environment, with a proven track record of working on the Bonga FPSO.
    • The candidate must hold valid offshore certifications such as BOSIET, OSP, and a valid medical certificate.
    • This position requires working in a challenging offshore industrial environment on platforms or vessels.
    • Develop and review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, test protocols, and checklists for all electrical systems.
    • Manage and execute all pre-commissioning activities, including continuity checks, insulation resistance tests (meggering), and energization of electrical systems and equipment.
    • Supervise the installation and testing of all electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and generators.
    • Coordinate with vendors and specialized technical teams for the testing and start-up of critical and complex electrical systems.
    • Prepare and manage all necessary pre-commissioning and commissioning documentation, including test reports, sign-off sheets, and the final handover dossier.

    Instrument Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, test protocols, and checklists for all instrument loops and control systems.
    • Manage and execute all pre-commissioning activities, including loop checks, function tests, and logic checks for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD), and Fire & Gas (F&G) systems.
    • Supervise the calibration and verification of all field instruments, including transmitters, control valves, and gauges.

    Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning Lead

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and supervise the pre-commissioning and commissioning team offshore, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and in line with project schedules and procedures.
    • Develop, review, and approve pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, test packs, and work instructions.
    • Coordinate with the construction, engineering, and operations teams to ensure a smooth handover of systems.
    • Manage the execution of all pre-commissioning activities, including flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, and loop checks.

    Responsibilites

    • Set up and operate abrasive blasting equipment, including blast pots, hoses, and nozzles.
    • Select and use the correct abrasive media based on project specifications and surface requirements.
    • Perform surface preparation through abrasive blasting to achieve the specified cleanliness and surface profile.
    • Ensure all surfaces are free from rust, old coatings, and other contaminants before the coating application.
    • Maintain all blasting equipment in good working condition and report any defects or issues immediately.
    • Work in coordination with Painters and Coating Inspectors to ensure seamless project flow.
    • Participate in pre-job risk assessments and toolbox talks to ensure all safety measures are understood and followed.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Blaster, with at least 5 years specifically in an offshore oil and gas environment, with a proven track record of working on the Bonga FPSO.

    Coating Inspector

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct pre-inspection of surfaces to be coated to ensure proper surface preparation, including checking for cleanliness, roughness, and profile before coating application.
    • Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and dew point to ensure they are within the specified limits for coating application.
    • Perform wet and dry film thickness measurements of applied coatings to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
    • Verify and document the correct mixing and application of coating materials according to technical data sheets and project specifications.
    • Oversee and inspect the application of protective coatings to structural steel, piping, and equipment.
    • Conduct final inspections and quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets all quality standards and client specifications.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and documentation of all coating activities, including materials used, equipment, and personnel.
    • Ensure all coating work complies with applicable safety codes, industry standards (e.g., NACE, SSPC), and client specifications.

    • Assist in training and mentoring junior inspectors and other team members on quality control procedures.

    Requirements

    • A relevant technical certification in coatings inspection from a reputable institution (e.g., NACE, FROSIO, or SSPC) is required. A Degree in a related engineering field is an advantage.
    • A minimum of 8years of experience as a Coating Inspector, with at least 5years specifically in an offshore oil and gas environment, with a proven track record of working on the Bonga FPSO.
    • Proven experience inspecting surface preparation and coating application for maintenance, construction, and turnaround projects.
