Job Summary

•  Due to increasing activities, our client urgently needs the services of a drivers with a minimum of 5 yrs experience.
• The ideal candidate must have a current drivers license and must have pass all lagos State drivers tests. Candidates living within Ikeja would have an advantage.
• A Driver is a person employed to drive the Hotel’s Vehicle, deliver or collect goods or mailings.
• Drivers must be able to endure long hours driving, carry out vehicle maintenance checks and interact with clients in a professional conduct.
• They should also practice safety and health regulations to protect themselves and other people on the road.

Key Job Roles

• Transporting guests from one place to the other. For example from airports to Hotels and vice versa.
• Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
• Delivering packages to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking up office purchases or other administrative needs.
• Utilizing navigation apps to find the most optimal route.
• Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
• Updating monthly mileage records.
• Interacting with Guests in a professional manner
• Working at night and on weekends.
• Maintaining an organized travel schedule.
• Ensuring that vehicles have sufficient gas and are always ready for use.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighbourhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
