    Data Analyst

    Main Responsibilities

    • Usage of statistical and machine learning methods to analyze and generate useful reports.
    • Working with data on MS SQL Server and other data management system.
    • Updating and optimization of T-SQL inquiries .
    • Design comprehensive visualizations with BI Tools ( Power BI, SSRS, Excel and others) to decision makers coupled with usage of trend analysis
    • Team player in analytics and application development by leveraging on technology
    • Comment on/document own code according to standards and guidelines
    • Document deployment instructions in line with operating procedures
    • Update knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, data analytics, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
    • Develop tactical tools in order to streamline or bring more efficiency within processes
    • Be a player in business process re-engineering within the department.

    Necessary Experience and Knowledge

    • Minimum B.Sc. / HND in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software engineering or related discipline with cognate experience
    • At least 3 years experience of database management
    • Ability of writing complex inquiries and their optimization.
    • Good Knowledge of MS SQL Reporting Services and MS Excel
    • Fluent English, both in writing and orally

    Head, Business Development (Smart Metering in Power Sector)

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the development of short and long term marketing strategies to sell the company pro ducts and optimize plant capacity.
    • Coordinate the development of marketing programs and campaigns for each of the company’s products and services
    • Coordinate the identification and assessment of the buyers in order to achieve and exceed sales revenue targets.
    • Oversee the sourcing and collation of prospective buyers to continually identify business opportunities and develop ways to ensure revenue growth within existing/defined markets.
    • Develop sales strategies and oversee the development of relevant agreements/contracts.
    • Evaluate sales proposal in relation to products quantities, prices, terms, etc.
    • Oversee the collation and utilization of market information for meters pricing and terms of sale.
    • Oversee and ensure negotiation of Sales and Purchase Agreements and other commercial contracts with DiSCos.
    • Evaluate risk management analysis associated with the every business transaction.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, shareholders, relevant government agencies and other stakeholders.
    • Provide technical advice on current/future international markets for meters and other components
    • Coordinate market surveys targeted at identifying business opportunities and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of marketing activities.
    • Coordinate market research studies and analysis and ensure maintenance of a comprehensive and up-to-date database of useful industry/market information.

    Requirements, Experience and Education

    • First Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or any other related discipline
    • Relevant post graduate degree/ professional qualification e.g. MBA is an added advantage
    • Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience with at least 3 years in management capacity especially in a power and renewable energy sector
    • Good understanding of Power Sector primarily across the Power Sector Value Chain
    • Familiar with the regulatory bodies like Rural Electrification Agency, Nigeria Electricity
    • Regulatory Commission, Nigeria Electricity Management Services Agency, Standard
    • Organization of Nigeria and others related bodies
    • Capable of handling multiple proposals with varied complexities, at a time.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Deep understanding of the global and local Power industry including production cycle, market structure, key players, business opportunities, market trends development, issues/challenges, etc
    • Knowledge of market/industry analysis, practices, techniques/methodologies and tools
    • Knowledge of business planning, pricing mechanisms, etc.
    • Strong understanding of the meter production and supply cycle

    Regional Project Manager (Smart Metering Installation)

    Job Description

    • The job holder plays a pivotal role in overseeing the installation and maintenance of smart meters within the designated geographical circle.
    • The primary objective is to ensure seamless project execution, adherence to timelines, and maintenance of smart metering infrastructure to meet organizational goals across the Disco.
    • He will be the key person, responsible for multiple smart metering projects across designated Disco’s operational network.
    • He coordinates the projects with the team of Local Smart Meters Installers and local electrical contractors.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop a comprehensive plan and strategy for the roll out of smart meters across different
    • Disco Network
    • Coordinate manpower, materials and logistics requirements for seamless execution of
    • projects
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail while adhering to business
    • processes for prompt roll-out of smart meters according to the Customers timelines and
    • expectations
    • Take full ownership of post installation customer-related issues and drives them to
    • completion with internal and external stakeholders and team members.
    • Report status/ progress to the Management and others with appropriate detail and raises potential project issues to relevant stakeholders early.
    • Engage and onboard the right installers in numbers required for the roll out of smart meters and monitor their performance periodically.
    • Ensure all the local smart meters installers are acquitted with the quality assurance processes of each of the Disco’s standard of installations.
    • Coordinate prompt uploading of every installed smart meters on each Disco platform as may be required by their standard of specification.
    • Ensure visibility of every installed smart meters on AMI software Supervise various project managers assigned to designated Disco to ensure timely roll-out of smart meters.
    • Oversees maintenance instructions and spares necessary for the operation of equipment.
    • Ensure his team, logistics and other associated resources comply with Quality
    • Management System / Occupational Health & Safety requirements of designated Disco during roll-out and installation of smart meters.
    • Set up a project steering committee and implementation committee in alignment with stakeholders expectation
    • Attend project review meeting towards successful implementation of assigned projects
    • Organize and prepare relevant reports to management, and other stakeholders as required Contribute to the development of the Department budget and monitor and control the budget to ensure that expenditure does not exceed agreed limits.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in any relevant technical discipline.
    • Professional membership or certification in NSE and/or COREN or equivalent international certification
    • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Electricity Distribution Chain/ or similar establishment
    • Project Management skills
    • Knowledge of Electricity Distribution Operations is necessary
    • Familiar with Local Electrical Engineers Association
    • Proven experience in Smart Metering Operations within the Advanced Metering Infrastructure space.
    • Good communication and crisis management skills.
