    Construction Project Manager

    Role Summary

    • The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of high-value construction projects, ensuring performance in time, cost, quality, safety, and client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, advanced planning and reporting skills, sound knowledge of construction contracts (including JCT and related contract forms), and the ability to confidently represent Management in meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of construction projects.
    • Develop and manage detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project, including critical path analysis, resource planning, and progress tracking.
    • Prepare and present weekly and monthly project reports, dashboards, recovery plans, and management updates.
    • Administer project contracts, variations, extensions of time, notices, and other contractual obligations in line with JCT and applicable contract conditions.
    • Coordinate Site Engineers, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Procurement, HSE, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
    • Monitor project budgets, cash flow, procurement, and cost performance, and implement corrective actions where required.
    • Lead client, consultant, and progress meetings, and professionally represent Ucalux in all project-related engagements.
    • Identify project risks, delays, claims, and technical issues, and drive timely resolution and mitigation actions.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience managing medium- to large-scale construction projects.
    • Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts, variations, claims, and construction contract administration.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project is mandatory.
    • Strong reporting, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage clients and consultants at management level.
    • Professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, NIOB, NIQS, is required

    Procurement Officer

    Role Summary

    • The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing materials, processing purchase requests, coordinating vendors, tracking deliveries, and ensuring that project materials are procured on time, within budget, and in line with approved specifications and company procedures.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Process material requisitions based on approved BOQs and project schedules.
    • Source and compare quotations from suppliers to ensure value for money.
    • Prepare and track purchase orders and delivery schedules.
    • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
    • Verify that delivered materials match approved specifications and quantities.
    • Maintain accurate procurement records, quotations, invoices, and delivery documentation.
    • Monitor pending orders and escalate delays that may affect project timelines.
    • Liaise with Site Engineers, Stores, Finance, and other departments to support smooth project execution.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc./HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Building Technology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in procurement, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
    • Good knowledge of construction materials, vendor coordination, and purchase order processes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.

    Site Administrator

    Role Summary

    • The Site Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate site records, coordinating documentation, tracking labour and material data, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring that information flows efficiently between the project site and Head Office. This role is critical to maintaining control, accountability, and operational efficiency on a complex construction site.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate records of labour attendance, site activities, material movements, and project documentation.
    • Prepare and update daily, weekly, and monthly administrative and operational reports.
    • Track and reconcile site data, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues requiring management attention.
    • Coordinate documentation between Site Engineers, Procurement, Stores, HR, and Head Office.
    • Manage filing systems, correspondence, approvals, and document control processes.
    • Support workforce administration, onboarding documentation, and site welfare coordination.
    • Monitor administrative compliance and ensure timely submission of required records and reports.
    • Assist project leadership with data analysis, reporting accuracy, and operational follow-up.

    Requirements

    • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Business Administration, Office Management, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in site administration, project administration, or construction administration.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data reconciliation, and reporting).
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret site data.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume construction environment.
    • Experience on large construction or high-rise projects is a strong advantage.
