The Company Secretary will provide strategic governance and administrative support to the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in corporate governance.
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and called to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
Must have Professional certification in company secretarial practice (e.g., ICSAN)
An advanced degree (MBA/LLM) will be an added advantage
Minimum of 12 years' experience as a Company Secretary or in a related role preferably in the financial services sector
Strong knowledge of corporate law, Governance principles, Regulatory requirements and best practices, Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) and other relevant regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
