Company Driver at Rossetti Tiles Limited

Responsibilities

• Safely and timely drive the employees to and from marketing and other required occasions
• Timely delivery of goods to our customers when assigned
• Cross-check items loaded on truck against delivery waybill
• Brilliantly answer client’s inquiries or refer such inquiries to the appropriate office.
• Ensure vehicle is clean at all time by washing both inside and the outside
• Carry out routine checks & ensure that vehicles are kept perfect and clean at all times
• Timely report all vehicle faults to the Office Manager
• Ensures the vehicle papers are up to date and well maintained
• Perform periodic basic maintenance on the vehicle
• Keep up a travel log to record areas traveled to, travel time, and work hours
• Must be able to consider different routes to decide the best time and route to take
• Must be able and willing to load/offload products from the truck
• Dress professionally and in accordance with the company’s dress code.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE / OND Certificate
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a driving test and background check
• Must possess a positive and professional attitude
• Must be able to speak and write English. Ability to speak Yoruba and/or Igbo is an advantage
• Experience and good knowledge of Lagos Roads and sufficient knowledge of traffic laws
• Must be a safety-conscious person, focused, confident and observant.
• Must reside around SURULERE axis
• Ability to drive a forklift is an advantage
• Must be available to resume work immediately.
