Job Purpose

• The clearing officer will carry out all documentation with the Nigeria Custom Service (NCS) and Shipping Lines with respect to import of goods and services.
• He/She will monitor, track, analyze, and report the performance of the clearing process. He/She would also propose efficiency improvements for all processes with potentials to lead to future wastages.

Duties / Responsibilities

• To convert payments to receipt
• To process Escort at Federal Operating Unit for all consignment.
• Getting of Escort Undertaking for all consignment.
• To process gate Exit for all consigment.
• Writing of Terminal delivery order
• To follow up on refunds from AP Moller Terminal
• To confirmation Haulage Service Provider (HSP) Truck location
• To distribute Terminal Delivery Order (TDO's) to Haulage Service Providers
• Passing of trucks from the gate
• To track containers till arrival at the warehouse.
• Revalidating of entries after clearing
• To get information from customs on any development that may affect Saro logistics.
• To release from shipping line (Delivery Order)
• Inspection Act for Custom release

Education and Experience

• B.Sc / HND in Business Administration, Social Science discipline or any related course
• 2 - 5 years experience in related field

Job Purpose

• The warehouse supervisor will monitor and track the loading and offloading of products in and out of the warehouse. He/she will provide and keep accurate report to aid efficient reporting and ensure zero wastages.

Duties / Responsibilities

• To inspect container from the port
• To monitor offloading/Trans loading
• Raising of GRN for each container
• Updating of Container register
• To monitor loading trucks upcountry
• To inspect trucks/documents before Loading
• To ensure stock are loaded on FIFO basis always.
• Issuing of waybill for loaded trucks.
• Updating of stock cards after loading
• To ensure stacking height are maintained and that all products are on pallet.
• To ensure that the warehouse is kept clean at all times.
• To ensure Safety measures are Adhere to
• To monitor labor activities at the warehouse

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in any related field with a minimum of second class upper.
• 2 - 5 years experience in related field

Duties / Responsibilities

• Ensure daily Production report and track, prepare, and analyze variance report for Management Team
• Perform comprehensive variance analysis and determined root-cause for each significant variance.
• Perform audits of bills of materials to ensure product costs are accurate and accounted for properly.
• Provide Weekly status of labor, overhead, productivity, usages, direct labor, and distribution cost.
• Ensure bill of material and costing accurately reflect production operations.
• Ensure that financial discipline and prudence is applied for all transactions and will provide primary controls to ensure that the assets of the project are well secured.
• Monitor the key performance indicators to assess, analyze and track manufacturing processes.
• Report the actual financial Performance and compare with the Control Levers
• Assist the Business Accountant in the preparation of data required for forecasting, planning, and budgeting.
• Provide weekly wastage Report.
• Ensure inputs and outputs of inventory are analyzed accurately and timely.

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Minimum of a Second Class Upper in Accounting, Economics, or Finance from a reputable university
• Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACCA or ACA).
• An MBA or equivalent postgraduate management degree will be an advantage
• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years working experience in similar role as Production/Management Accountant.
• Age Requirement: 28- 35yrs old.
