He / she will be responsible for:

• Plan developmentally and age-appropriate lesson plans for children in your classroom.
• Develop and implement engaging activities that meet the developmental needs of children in your classroom.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and clear expectations.
• Observe and assess each child's progress, providing individualised support and adjusting activities as needed to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain open, effective communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child's progress and any concerns, through periodic meetings and report-writing.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care. Follow all relevant health and safety protocols.
• Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through ongoing professional development and training.
• Confer with other staff to plan special events such as Christmas Concert, Colour Days

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Education
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a nursery school teacher
• Familiar with the EYFS Curriculum
• Good grasp of English Language
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Creativity
• Proactive
• TRCN certificate is a plus
