    Civil Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • To consult with and provide guidance to project stakeholders and management regarding engineering requirements for construction of various designs, modifications, and structural repairs.
    • Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and others)
    • Preparing and implementing project plans.
    • Assesses strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel by testing materials and soil. He / she supervises the testing by third party in order to conform with engineering standards.
    • Researching and providing estimates for projects.
    • Assesses potential risks, materials and costs
    • Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, construction processes, and regulatory compliance.
    • Confidently liaising with clients and other professional subcontractors.
    • Estimates materials, equipment, and labour needed to determine project costs.
    • Monitors project progress and ensures design specifications, safety, and sanitation standards are met.
    • Project management duties (e.g. managing budgets, resources, and deadlines; acquiring and compiling quotes, etc.).
    • On completion of a project, inspects, repairs, and maintains the structures as needed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree with 3 - 10 years experience.
