    Chinese Translator

    Job Summary

    • The Chinese Translator is responsible for translating written and spoken content from Chinese to English and vice versa while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
    • The role includes proofreading, editing, and collaborating with teams to ensure high-quality communication and documentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Translate documents, emails, reports, agreements, and other materials from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
    • Provide real-time or scheduled interpretation during meetings, calls, and presentations.
    • Ensure accuracy, context, and cultural sensitivity in all translated content.
    • Review and proofread translated material to maintain quality and consistency.
    • Collaborate with departments (HR, Sales, Admin, Marketing, etc.) to fulfil translation needs.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all documents and communications.
    • Manage translation timelines and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
    • Assist in creating bilingual content including manuals, notices, and business correspondence.
    • Stay updated on industry terms, technical vocabulary, and relevant language standards.

    Store Officer

    Key Responsibilities

    • The Store Officer will be responsible for the systematic and compliant management of all hospital inventory, with a focus on sterile and time-sensitive medical supplies.

    Duties
    Medical Inventory Control:

    • Oversee the storage and organization of specialized stock, including surgical kits, implants, pharmaceuticals (non-controlled), laboratory reagents, and general medical consumables.
    • Ensure strict compliance with all manufacturer and regulatory requirements for storage, including temperature and humidity control, shelf-life monitoring, and maintaining sterile stock integrity.

    Receiving and Inspection:

    • Process and verify incoming deliveries of hospital goods against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of quantities and specifications.
    • Conduct thorough inspection of all medical supplies for damage, expiration dates, and proper packaging, especially for sterile items.
    • Accurately record receipts using the Electronic medical record (EMR).

    Issuance and Distribution:

    • Process authorized requisitions from surgical theaters, emergency rooms, wards, and other departments.
    • Issue stock using the First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) principle to minimize waste due to expiration.
    • Ensure all issues are properly documented and tracked to departmental cost centers.

    Auditing and Compliance:

    • Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories for reconciliation.
    • Investigate and report all inventory discrepancies, recommending measures to improve accuracy and control.
    • Ensure the store operation adheres strictly to hospital policies, quality standards, and relevant healthcare regulatory guidelines.

    Security and Safety:

    • Maintain the security of the store's area, controlling access and ensuring the safe handling and storage of hazardous or sensitive materials according to OSHA standards.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Education: B.Sc Degree / ND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a stores, warehouse, or inventory management role, with significant experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is highly advantageous.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proven proficiency in inventory management software and Electronic medical record (EMR)
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.

    Core Competencies:

    • Demonstrable knowledge of medical inventory best practices, including FEFO and sterile supply management.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced hospital setting.
