    Chief Executive Officer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
    Report Line: Group Chief Executive Officer & Board of Directors

    Job Purpose

    • The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for the overall success of the business entity, provide strategic leadership in the organization, and establish long-term goals, plans, and policies to deliver shareholder value.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement the long-term business strategy of the business, ensure the organization achieves its overall objectives efficiently and as cost-effectively as possible. 
    • Ensure that the Board of Directors receives detailed reports and information supporting their fiduciary and corporate governance responsibilities.
    • Develop corporate and annual business plans with targeted Key Performance Indicators to measure success against short- and long-term goals. 
    • Create and execute a functional marketing strategy that will promote the products and services of agent banking. 
    • Expand the company's visibility and build a superagency network across Nigeria that companies can leverage, increasing long-term revenue. 
    • Manage agent networks and the overall operations of agents while ensuring compliance with agreements/contracts.
    • Identify agent coverage and gaps to ensure a good quality agent network.
    • Establish an effective and competent participatory management style.
    • Monitor financial performance to ensure business alignment and profitability.
    • Ensure that projects and goals are met and adhered to approved budgets.
    • Stay up to date with the competitive landscape, customers, industry developments and standards, and business opportunities. 
    • Take ownership of opportunities that the board deems strategic and essential to the business.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned that are in line with the company's goals and objectives. 

    Specification & Requirements

    • Preferred candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of agency banking and fintech services
    • A high level of business awareness and acumen.

    Executive Business Manager to the CEO

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
    Reporting Line: Group Chief Excecutive Officer

    Job Purpose

    • The Executive Business Manager to the CEO will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing partnership opportunities with global and regional fintechs across a variety of industries.
    • If building infrastructure for hundreds of businesses in Africa excites you, this role is for you.

    Responsibilities
    You will:

    • Assist in attending meetings on behalf of the CEO and making precise business decisions
    • Work closely with existing and prospective partners to identify strategic partnerships, product development, and investment opportunities for the organization
    • Manage clients and prospect pipelines, deals, and ad-hoc requests consistently and as needed
    • Research, and formulate strategies and recommendations for new product development opportunities with Fintechs
    • Design a daily operational plan that will build organizational objectives
    • Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the business
    • Work with the management team on strategic planning.

    Requirements
    You would be great for this role if you have:

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in the Fintech or Financial Services Industry
    • A demonstrated track record in planning, managing, closing competitive business efforts, and managing deals from negotiation to closing
    • The ability to work in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
    • Vast knowledge of business and strategy development processes.
    • Interpersonal & relationship-building skills and ability to lead.
    • Great communication skills.
    • Ability to influence and work within a matrixed environment.
