    Chief Engineer (Bunker Vessel Operations)

    Key Responsibilities
    Vessel Engineering Management:
    Oversee 24/7 operation/maintenance of:

    • Main propulsion systems (MAN B&W/Wärtsilä engines)
    • Fuel oil transfer/purification systems
    • Auxiliary machinery (pumps, compressors, generators)
    • Maintain <1% downtime through preventive maintenance.

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure all machinery meets:
      • NIMASA seaworthiness standards
      • MARPOL Annex I (oil pollution prevention)
      • NCDMB NCEC requirements
    • Keep perfect engine room logsfor NUPRC audits

    Safety & Emergency Response:

    • Conduct weekly safety drills(engine room fires, blackout recovery)
    • Maintain100% operability of:
      • Emergency generator
      • Bilge/firefighting systems
    • Implementlockout-tagout (LOTO)procedures

    Team Leadership:

    • Supervise2nd Engineers, Motormen, and Fitters
    • Conductmonthly competency assessments
    • EnforceSTCW work/rest hour compliance

    Technical Reporting:

    • Submitdaily engine performance reports
    • Managespare parts inventory(critical spares always available)
    • Coordinatedry-dock maintenance planning

    Technical Skills:

    • Expert in:
      • Sulzer/Wärtsilä engine troubleshooting
      • PMS software(AMOS, Helm CONNECT)

    Qualifications & Requirements
    Mandatory Certifications:

    • STCW III/2 Chief Engineer (Unlimited)
    • NIMASA Certificate of Competency
    • High Voltage Certification(if applicable)
    • Valid medical fitness certificate

    Experience:

    • 10+ years marine engineering (5+ years as Chief Engineer)
    • 3+ years onbunker vessels(>5,000 DWT)
    • Proven experience with:
      • Fuel oil treatment systems
      • Ballast water management

    HSE Manager (Oil & Gas)

    Key Responsibilities
    HSE Systems Implementation

    • Develop and implement Project-Specific HSE Plans compliant with NUPRC, NCDMB, and ISO 45001 standards
    • Conduct HAZID/HAZOP studies for all AGO handling operations
    • Maintain100% compliance with statutory safety regulations

    Incident Prevention & Management:

    • Achieve<0.5 TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate)through proactive safety measures
    • Lead investigations for all incidents (spills, near-misses, LTAs) using Root Cause Analysis
    • Implement corrective actions within 48 hours of incident reporting

    Training & Competency:

    • Conduct monthly safety drills(fire, spill response, vessel evacuation)
    • Deliver mandatory HSE inductions for all personnel (including subcontractors)
    • Maintain training records for NCDMB audit compliance

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Prepare weekly HSE reports for regulators
    • Ensure all facilities (vessels, tank farms) have valid safety certifications
    • Manage Environmental Permits(effluent discharge, air quality monitoring)

    Emergency Preparedness:

    • Maintain24/7 emergency response teams at all operational sites
    • Test oil spill containment systems quarterly
    • Coordinate with NIMASA Marine Pollution Unit for offshore contingencies

    Qualifications & Requirements
    Mandatory Certifications:

    • NEBOSH International Diploma(or equivalent)
    • ISPON HSE Level 3certification
    • OPITO-approved Oil Spill Response training

    Experience:

    • 8+ years in oil / gas HSE management
    • 3+ years in marine logistics safety (bunker vessels/tank farms)
    • Proven track record of zero fatalities in previous roles

    Marine Manager (Bunker Vessel Operations)

    About The Role

    • Ataogo Nigeria Limited seeks an experienced Marine Manager to oversee all bunker vessel operations for our AGO supply contract. 
    • The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine logistics in accordance with NIMASA, NCDMB, and international maritime regulations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Vessel Operations Management

    • Supervise daily operations of bunker vessels engaged in AGO transportation
    • Ensure 100% vessel availability and seaworthiness at all times
    • Coordinate with the Chief Engineer on maintenance schedules and repairs

    Regulatory Compliance:

    • Maintain all vessel certifications (NCDMB NCMVC, NIMASA, ISPS)
    • Ensure compliance with MARPOL and SOLAS regulations
    • Oversee Nigerian Content requirements for vessel crew (minimum 60% Nigerian personnel)

    Safety & Emergency Preparedness:

    • Implement and enforce HSE policies onboard all vessels
    • Conduct monthly safety drills (fire, abandon ship, oil spill response)
    • Investigate and report all marine incidents (TRIR, LTAs)

    Logistics Coordination:

    • Plan and execute bunkering schedules for offshore/onshore deliveries
    • Liaise with port authorities for smooth vessel movements
    • Manage demurrage and optimize turnaround times

    Team Leadership:

    • Supervise vessel captains, deck officers, and marine crew
    • Conduct quarterly competency assessments for all marine personnel.

    Qualifications & Requirements
    Mandatory Certifications:

    • Class 1 Marine Certificate of Competency (Unlimited)
    • STCW certifications (all modules)
    • NIMASA-approved Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) certificate

    Experience:

    • Minimum 8 years in bunker vessel operations
    • 5+ years in a marine supervisory role
    • Proven experience in Nigerian waters (Gulf of Guinea operations preferred.

    Project Manager (AGO Supply)

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the critical AGO supply operations for Offshore Facilities, ensuring seamless execution from procurement to delivery.
    • The Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of AGO supply operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (NUPRC, NCDMB, NIMASA), contractual obligations, and HSE standards

    Qualifications & Experience
    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
    • Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project Planning & Execution:

    • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets for AGO supply operations.
    • Coordinate between marine, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of AGO to onshore/offshore locations.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, regulatory bodies (NUPRC, NCDMB), and subcontractors.
    • Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.

    Regulatory Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to Nigerian Content requirements.
    • Oversee NUPRC and NIMASA documentation for vessels and storage facilities.

    HSE & Quality Assurance:

    • Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies (zero LTAs, spill prevention).
    • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

    Team Leadership:

    • Supervise project personnel (marine, logistics, HSE teams).
    • Ensure all staff meet certification and competency requirements.
